Everything about the experience - from a well made website that facilitated a smooth purchase, to the prompt delivery and fantastic taste - was ideal. The vodka liqueur is delicious, it’s a smooth fruity taste that pairs well with many mixers but we particularly like pink lemonade! I would recommend purchasing from taste the borders to anyone who likes good alcohol!

I ordered from Taste the Borders after seeing the poster in my local bus shelter. I had been trying to think of an 80th birthday present for my brother in law that might be slightly different from the usual bottle of something. This was ideal. It was delivered on time, and nicely placed in the basket I had ordered with it. Thank you. I hope that Taste the Borders does well, it is a nice idea and all of the products seem to be well chosen and good value.

While having the opportunity to help William at Taste the Borders with photography I had the chance to try the Strawberry and Basil Vodka Liquer which was fresh tasting and quit nice for being a non vodka person. However mix it with some Perssecco and well that's something else for your taste buds! Definitely recommend it and the other range available..

While waiting for my bus home, I noticed there was a poster in the bus shelter, promoting TasteTheBorders. I was at first intrigued by it as it displayed a bottle of Strawberry and Basil vodka liqueur, of which, I absolutely love fresh strawberries and anything strawberry related so I had to give it a try. Went online to thier website, only to discover they had a lot more than just spirits. They offer coffee,honey, jams, chutneys and ales, all localised within the Scottish Borders. They also had something called 'Orangecello', which on the website shows it won 2 Gold awards from The Spirit Guide and Liqueur Masters. So, I also had to buy that as I do like oranges, and it won 2 awards, so I figured it had to be something special.

A week or so later, my package arrived, carefully wrapped and the vodka liqueur bottle looks amazing. That evening, I gathered some friends and we all had a blast tasting and enjoying the spirits.

The vodka liqueur had rich notes of fresh strawberries with a hint of basil, it was the perfect end of meal digestif on the rocks. The the orangecello was also a hit with my guests, very in your face sort of flavour. Like you can definitely tell your tasting fresh oranges and not artificial flavouring. I can see why it got 2 gold awards.

I'll definitely be ordering again from the site.
