This is the most awesome and understandable school I have been to. They are very thorough and it’s all hands on. I would recommend this program to ANY ONE wanting to become a tattoo artist!

Being able to talk to Nathan 1 on 1 and express my problems and thoughts was extremely helpful. Nathan was completely understanding and encouraged me to keep going!! The support from everyone in Tattoo101 is incredible! 10/10 recommend people who want to begin tattooing to take this course it’s extremely straight forward and you meet so many people that will give you feedback. It’s like have a giant family of tattoo artists. You can see everyone’s progression it’s great

Signed up for the program to have something a little more structured than random videos online. The courses have really helped me a lot. When you sign up for the course you’re also eligible to get into the private Facebook group. The group is just another great place for resources whether you’re looking for CC on your work to recommendations on equipment. Being part of the Facebook group has other benefits such as weekly live and zoom meetings where they’ll discuss everything from setting up your own studio to meetings where they’ll look at submitted work from students. They go over ever piece and give good advice where improvements need to be made and what was done properly.

Being completely honest I had my doubts about all of this. When I signed up I figured I would learn a few things but really thought it was a cash grab. I can honestly say I don’t believe that’s remotely true with these guys. The instructors seem to have a vested interest in your success. I learned this recently. I had been messaging back and forth with an admin and Nathan one of the instructors. They were checking on my progress and mentioned if I thought a more one on one approach would benefit me. I knew they offered another program where you got more of a one on one mentorship from the instructors. During our conversations I told them that would be awesome to have but right now wouldn’t be ideal for me to sign up for another program. They then asked if I’d be interested in doing a zoom meet just to learn more about the program. I agreed to the zoom meet and honestly I thought it was going to be a sales pitch the whole meeting. I was completely wrong.

My zoom meeting was with Nathan one of the instructors. When the call started I just wanted to be upfront, that signing up for that program really isn’t in the cards for me right. I didn’t want to waste Nathan’s time and I didn’t want to feel pressured into buying something I can’t right now. I was 100 percent wrong with how I thought that call was going to go. Nathan did explain a bit about the program to me and it definitely sounds like an amazing add on to everything else they do. Not one time during the call did I feel he was trying to sell me anything. He asked a lot about my art and my progress so far. He asked where I felt I was lacking and where my strong points are. Nathan gave me a lot of advice on things I can do to continue progressing. I joined the call thinking as soon as I said I couldn’t sign up the call would be over but we sat and just talk for probably a good 45 minutes. At the end of the call he asked if we could meet again in a couple of months to see my progress, he sent me the link with a scheduled time to meet before the call was even over.

If you’re looking to get into a program where you’re not just a dollar to them. This is it, my experience and from what I’ve seen from others in the program, these instructors actually care about your success.

This program has helped me out on so many levels. From shop life to marketing to mindset to technique - all is covered in careful detail. The team is super experienced and knowledgeable. They're also very supportive and passionate about what they do. If you're looking for structured learning, I'd highly recommend taking this path.

This is an amazing place for people who want to learn tattooing and turn it into a career. Nathan and Diana in particular are really helpful and approachable. The Facebook community as well is really positive and constructive. I honestly don’t have a bad thing so say about any of it.

Tattooing 101 was such an amazing program to be apart of. They helped me with all my technical skills and helped me feel more confident within myself and my work. Not only did i find friends within my teachers but I was also able to connect and make friends with other amazing artists around the world. The tattooing 101 community is really excellent due to the amount of knowledge you receive without having to spend all those extra years jumping through hoops just to try to be seen as an apprentice. Tattooing 101 really helps artists grow and expand.

The accelerator program is easy to work thru at your own pace. And for me it has helped me immensely improve my skills and set me up for success. while still having time for my son and while I'm still working my 9-5.
The mentors are amazing people to work with, they really help you along your journey to becoming a tattoo artist.

Tattooing 101 was an incredible experience! The accelerator program set in motion my career as a professional tattoo artist. The curriculum is perfectly taught and meant to teach even the small intricacies of the tattoo industry. From shop set ups, to technical and conceptual precision in tattooing. I am now a full time tattoo artist and I have everyone at Tattooing 101 to thank for this.

I would never have gotten to where I am today without Tattooing 101. As a mom who works full time throughout the week, a traditional apprenticeship wasn't an option for me. By really buckling down and giving it my all, this course helped me achieve things I never even thought was possible. I was able to get hired in a shop as an artist right away, without an apprenticeship. And I am now the proud owner of my own private studio. Whether you're in a traditional apprenticeship or not, I highly recommend this course to help you really level up your tattooing career.

I learned a lot about tattooing and the many different tricks and techniques there are to practice tattooing with. Before Tattooing 101 I thought that you tattooed with pure ink, but I learned that you can mix the ink with either distilled water or witch hazel to get better outcomes with the ink. Brandon and Nathan are excellent mentors/teachers and have the experience and knowledge in being patient with teaching and know how to adjust the mentorship if there's any difficulties throughout the process.!

Tattooing 101 is the absolute best. I watched their YouTube videos for a long time before deciding to jump in to the Accelerator Program. My biggest regret is not doing it sooner. As a middle aged man working to support a household I couldn’t just quit working to following my dream. This is where Tattooing 101 has made it possible to transition smoothly without me or my family having to sacrifice. I will be forever grateful for that.

The information is solid and industry trusted standards. No fluff and high level, it gets right down in to the heart of it. You won’t walk away wondering what you’re missing because you won’t be.

Everything is set up in a systematic format that makes it easy for anyone of any skill level follow and go at their own pace to learn the material. The modules are very well explained throughout. The coaches are very knowledgeable of the craft and have a passion for helping others up their game or help someone new learn from scratch. Not only did I get the accelerator program but it also at the time came with the 30 day flash challenge was amazing in itself! The coaches are constantly revamping and refreshing the course or adding new things to the course. The coaches are fairly easy to get in contact if needed directly but their is also countless of other “mentors” that help in the Facebook mastermind group! Which has been a god send lol you get not only a community to share your thoughts, struggles, works of art, etc, but it’s almost like one giant family! It’s always been a safe place for everyone to learn and grow, and anyone that has been rude/ignorant were automatically banned. This really is life changing stuff these guys are doing here. When I started I could barely draw. I’ve seen vast improvement with everyday from drawing skills to tattooing skills.. and yes you could learn it all in 90 days, but why? You have the opportunity to really take your time, do things right and let the knowledge sink in and take advantage of all the Facebook groups, and live calls with the coaches. I still am constantly in the groups or still using the program when needing to reference something. These guys really know their shit! From marketing, to tattooing and everything in between in the industry! Thank you tattooing101 staff!! Y’all have been great!

Tattooing 101 didn’t hand me success—I earned it.

It gave me the roadmap, and I ran with it. I finished the course in about 8 months, launched my own private studio while still holding down a full-time job, and spent the next year grinding—late nights, every weekend, perfecting my craft and building a name for myself.

After a year of nonstop hustle, I quit that job and walked straight into tattooing full time. Now I run Intrusive Ink in Ammon, Idaho, and I’m booked out months in advance.

Tattooing is more than just what I do—it’s unlocked a life I never thought was possible. I’m traveling, hitting conventions, and building real connections with some of the best in the game.

If you’re serious about tattooing, stop waiting and start building. No one’s going to hand it to you—but if you’re ready to go all in, this is where it starts.
