I would have given no stars , NO company is endorsed by the Tax office. Please all of you who have written a bad review report it to ACTION FRAUD .i have now reported them to the governments fraudulent tax website and Action fraud please do the same and save yourself a lot of bother

HMRC inform me of a £600 cheque sent to this company for overpaid tax. After taking their administrative fees I am expecting a cheque from them.
NOTHING !
Cannot contact through E mail their link does not work, telephone conversation with a person who knew nothing of my claim and tried to tell me I had the wrong company.
BEWARE THEY ARE A RIP OFF COMPANY, DO NOT USE!

Unable to contact them, their phone line constantly says their closed even in work hours. They have ended up costing me hundreds of pounds as the filed forms they shouldnt have, then consistantly told me that they would follow up and fix the problem and havent

Can't even call them as the number provided says they are closed and open at 9am even after 9am. My claim has been on going since November 2022 and still no payment.... SCAM!!!!

This company took control of my personal tax account via HMRC. I then heard/received nothing from them, but did receive £90o worth of fines from HMRC for unfiled tax returns - I'm a teacher I am not self-employed! No response when contacted - absolute criminals.

If I could give no stars I would this company are absolutely disgusting you get no reply if you try to contact them on the phone or to get is the office's closed when I email about this they told me it was because they are too busy what a absolutely disgusting company what scum these people are add an email back the other day of so-called director of the company someone called Meg it's just lies lies lies I've never poured it this company to trading Standards if you also had problems with this company do exactly the same so trading Standards can investigate this company and deal with them appropriate if you've not received your money I've been advised by the tax service to report this to the places fraud which I have now done and I advise you to do exactly the same this company need to be shut down these people are scum

After sending all my details, they claimed back some money of mine only to find out from HMRC that they issued a cheque to them on the 21/02/2023. I’ve not been contacted about this and it seems they’ve fell off the face of the earth. Chased numerous times to no avail, I wonder how many people they’ve done this too.

I went with this company last July. Got a claim for uniform, I received £1200. They took £700. I have now received a self assessment tax letter, phoned hmrc. Had to change my tax code. Now have to call back next month with a figure to what I will Ower hmrc. I am furious with this all.

I have had an ongoing claim since December and have received £400 worth of fines from HMRC. I have called HMRC to try resolve this which has resulted in getting 2 £100 fines revoked and I can appeal the other 2 so long as I do tax returns for those years(I am not self employed but still needs to be done). They also informed me that since opening this claim that the company has done nothing else, which is not what taxreturns told me.

In short, they are lying scammers and have caused more hassle than the money would be worth.

It wouldnt even b 1 star tbh, im now recieving a £400 fine from hmrc because of these absolute fraudsters can never speak with anyone email noone gets bk to you… they have control over my hmrc account nothin i can do looks like im gna b £400 out of pocket

I was told via email I was to expect a refund of £690 late December . After not receiving it I phoned and emailed several times with no response . I managed to get through to someone and they said I would defintely be getting the refund they just needed to wait for the refund to come into them. Once again I did not hear and sent more emails with no response. Not only that they have accessed my HMRC account and I can no longer access ?? I had a final response from them mid March to say I wasn’t due a refund after all !! This has all being going since September last year . DO NOT use them !!!!

Utter scam artists, had money over six weeks & I haven't seen it, offices are now closed.

They promised me money over £800 they asked for my bank details to send me the Kirby the money never came. I th e received £400 worth of penalties from HMRC and cannot access my own tax account to fix the problem because they have hijacked it and will not return any emails calls or messages.

They are fraudsters stay away !!

This company are just Scam artists,
After getting a letter from HMRC saying I was due a refund of 2k and the money was transferred to the Handling Agent (Tax Claims). After endless phone calls I finally received the rebate. £1250, they took over £700 for themselves in fees. I spoke to HMRC and they explained I could have claimed on my own easily. Basically they will take 30% of your claim plus an additional 20% of the 30%. AVOID!!!!!

Avoid this company at all costs. They are a scam. Filed tax returns for me and have caused endless problems with HMRC. I have now received fixed penalty for late self assesment. Taxclaims.com are not returning calls or emails. AVOID!!!!

Still waiting on my money to come through. Still baring with it. Will update when it’s come through.

Stay well clear of taxclaims lying frauds they claim your refund off hmrc and then lie telling you it will be in your account within 3-5 days and when questioned why you haven’t received the payment they change the story to payment still pending with hmrc this as happened 3 times where the story as changed naw taxclaims not knowing via hmrc that i know they have had the payment over a month transferred into their account, questioned this and they no longer respond to the whatsapp messages or phone calls or email! Stay well clear!!! Taken legal advice and reported to authorities for theft for not releasing payment

Do not use this company. Avoid at all cost for your tax returns. They are not returning my calls and I have been fined two £100 fines from HMRC for late self-assessment returns they’re now not answering the phone and returning any calls.

For those that can’t contact tax claims.com. Search on the government’s website who the directors are then use LinkedIn to find them and contact them.

These guys got me a substantial tax refund from HMRC. They're service is very slick and quick and I had my refund within a few weeks from start to finish. Highly recommend!
