Three things I love about Tax'd

1. They use plain English. No jargon and truly easy to understand.
2. There's a human being available to help in the chat really quickly if the robot can't help.
3. It's *reassuring* all the way through. Tells you how you're getting on as you go, and reassures and encourages. Somehow (for me at least) it gets the tone just right.

It was easy enough and clear. the application worked fine for me (rentals only, leaving out of the UK) and made it quite easy to use. I am not sure the price is justified for me though.
Final amount was correct if we do not consider the other half (advanced tax) to be paid. This can be misleading for financial planning.

Since semi-retiring, my tax affairs have become more straightforward and I could not stomach having to pay over £600 on an accountant. I thought I would give Taxd a go.
Setting up the online account was straightforward. Navigating the input pages was reasonable. I got a little confused at the mileage expenses phase, but think I entered the data correctly.
Submission was easy. I had to make an amendment when further information came in. The AI bot (Max) was actually really helpful and "talked" me through the process.
Overall, this was good value for money. I bought a two-year package at a reduced rate.
Overall, happy.

Easy to use and the AI assistant is outstanding

Really great system that's easy to follow and not daunting in the way a paper form and booklet is. Gives me confidence that I'm completing the tax return correctly. Max the AI chat bot does a great job of fielding general questions that could be found on the HMRC site but would take me much longer to understand. Found the personal online meeting when first used Taxd really helpful to set me up correctly.
