I just started working, and as someone who loves seeing the big picture, I'm really enjoying how pipelines work. The concept of pipeline gives me a clear walkthrough of how jobs passes through stages, how status changes can trigger tasks and how everything connects together.
I also appreciate how the Taxdome system is secure and traceable (like how I cannot edit my messages after a day hihi). I love it because i do believe it builds trust and protects sensitive data (and also for proper audit trail).
Uploading, downloading, and organizing documents is very handy. As a VA, for me its features are much capable in client communication and task tracking.Overall it makes my work relatively easier and lot more meaningful. :))

TaxDome has been a lifesaver for my small business. I came across TaxDome and after implementing it, it saved me approximately 10-20 hours a week of admin time during busy season. For the price of a couple tax returns, I was able to save myself from hiring a part time seasonal employee.

While onboarding did take longer than expected — particularly with the setup, onboarding clients and testing workflows and pipelines — the platform has proven to be well worth the initial investment of time.

Our tax person uses this Client Management Software ? System?) - CMS…
This CMS is privately held and the office seems to be in an interesting place in NY.
We were able to track down who owns it. As we are cautious with all the cyber problems now days.
They are Russian or Russian American grads from Cornell University.
We ended up not using this tax person. But this software was just ok security wise. We had questions. They also let the business owner edit communication which this tax guy wanted only through the TaxDome portal.
Word to wise - take screen shots of all your communication for documentation.
Small biz owners like this because it is less expensive than Intuit owned and protected software. A larger public company seems a safer bet.

Emails often went unanswered for days or weeks, and the support team showed little urgency in resolving our issues. The lack of timely assistance left us feeling undervalued as clients and significantly impacted our ability to use the platform effectively.

Due to the platform’s numerous shortcomings, we struggled to use TaxDome consistently. Our initial enthusiasm quickly waned as we realized that many promised features were either absent or difficult to use. This led to a drastic reduction in our frequency of use, as the platform failed to meet even our most basic expectations.

While TaxDome advertised a wide range of features during their sales pitch, the reality was quite different. Several critical features we needed were either missing or underdeveloped. Additionally, the few features that were available often required cumbersome workarounds, further detracting from the platform’s overall utility.

Misleading Sales Practices: TaxDome's initial pitch was polished and convincing, but once payment was secured, their approach shifted dramatically. This bait-and-switch tactic left us feeling deceived.
Premature Review Requests: Less than two weeks after starting, we were asked to leave a positive review despite minimal usage. This felt premature and disingenuous, raising concerns about the authenticity of other positive feedback they have received.
Rigid Refund Policy: Despite minimal usage and multiple attempts to negotiate, TaxDome rigidly adhered to a “no refund” policy. Even our reasonable request for a pro-rated refund was denied, highlighting a lack of flexibility and customer-centricity.
Ethical Concerns in Soliciting Reviews: Offering extended subscription time in exchange for a review is an ethically questionable practice. Additionally, requesting direct access to our review link undermined the credibility of their review process and raised concerns about transparency.
Compliance Issues: We observed a lack of transparency regarding TaxDome’s EU representation and VAT compliance. Despite providing services to EU-based businesses, invoices showed no clear VAT charges, raising potential regulatory concerns.
Conclusion:
