I owed the IRS $26k after I paid…

I owed the IRS $26k after I paid Taxrise 7k and they settled with the IRS literally my bill was still 26k plus the 7k Taxrise charged. These people are con artist and they will steal your money. Burn in hell Taxrise. They should be exposed for what they truly are. Thief’s!!!!!!

Highly Recommend

I always have a great experience with the Taxrise Team. They are professional, responsive and go above and beyond to reassure me that the resolution is going fine. I truly appreciate their commitment to quality and customer care. I only have one issue: We are on different time zones and when they try getting their monthly fee they start at 2am then every hour on the hour. I keep my card locked for protection so when I wake up there are about 6 declined transactions until I unlock the card. Sometimes due to so many declined transactions my card gets locked until I call. Maybe a little mindful to the time zones? Other than that, I highly recommend!

Spent nine months working with them and…

Spent nine months working with them and paying them. Absolutely nothing was accomplished. Zero change in what was due. Then my husband died, I paid the IRS in full and TaxRise still refused to cancel service. Their legal team Westlake actually harassed me to continue to pay even though I owed the IRS nothing! Scam. Thugs.
Per TaxRise response below. Westlake told me I cannot cancel their service without TaxRise telling them to and that TaxRise is “disputing my attempts to cancel.” So therefore they will continue to attempt withdrawals. Do do not tell me it’s a third party and you have nothing to do with them. I reiterate my claim that this is a scam. In nine months you resolved nothing. I actually lost money dealing with you by paying Westlake over $300 a month. Nada.

Paid over 2000$ to them to tell me it…

Paid over 2000$ to them to tell me it was all taken care of to only get no response when I got a letter from the irs threatening liens finally called me said it was a mistake they would fix it kept calling and emailing no response again today got a certified letter liens filed against me and husband . All lies and now instead of keeping a payment plan and irs atleast at bay they have filed liens and I’m out money

I hired Taxrise to handle my tax…

I hired Taxrise to handle my tax resolution and paid them about $7K. THey did nothing for me except got me on a payment plan with no opportunity for reduction of penalities or fees. I could have done what they did myself with a phone call and time. They did not do what was promised in getting me a reduction and then gave me a sorry explanation for the conclusion.

With tax rise there is hope

Prior to finding tax rise I was utilizing a firm for the past 12 months who did absolutely nothing for me , except file for an extension for my taxes.
Finding tax rise was like a blessing , my advisor Etic is beyond amazing . She is so thorough and explains things so clear , that even a “low-tech” old goat like me can understand.
She is so professional and extremely patient - she was like a god send for me . Thank you Etic and tax rise - I finally feel a glimmer of hope with a darkest situation in my entire life . I’m lucky to have found you!!!

poor communication

poor communication. they send an email without allowing you to respond to the email. using a No Reply email. they open tickets to make it look like they work on your case but nothing is done. they really don’t advocate for the customer. i havent gotten any resolution up to this point. they made a resolution without notifying me and asking me if i can do it. no feedback from IRS or FTB was provided to me by them. everything goes through a case manager but the case manager doesn’t advocate and doesn’t give solutions. they just want your money and to plug in numbers on a data sheet and tell you what you have to pay. after sending them my medical bills and costs of health issues and insurances and other taxes and business legal issues… they showed no consideration for them at all. biggest thing they tell you is they don’t care if you have to file bankruptcy because of the tax bill they proposed that you didn’t approve. those were exact words by them over the phone.
