I signed with Tax Saving Experts in…

I signed with Tax Saving Experts in September 2026 and paid $3,000 for a tax strategy coaching package (an onboarding call plus three coaching calls). I'm writing this so other business owners know what to ask before they sign.

The main strategy presented to me was a financed heavy equipment program through a third-party vendor. It was pitched as a way to write off a large amount of income in year one.

When I ran the numbers on my actual quote, most of that year-one write-off gets paid back later. It comes back through taxable rental income in years two through six, and through depreciation recapture when the equipment is sold, which the program is built around doing at year six. Over the full term, the tax benefit came out close to break-even, and that assumed the rental income hit its maximum every single month.

When I laid this out, the firm's own team confirmed in writing that my analysis was correct and that the program is a way to keep deferring, not a tax saving. That isn't how it was presented to me before I paid.

I requested a partial refund after one coaching call, with two calls still unused, and it was declined.

If you want to push your tax bill into the future while taking on debt on heavy machinery, go for it. But if you're looking for a real tax-saving strategy, I'd stay away from this one.
