When I rang everyone seemed so busy and under pressure, they had no time for us.
We were dealing with junior and inexperienced members of staff. Never the main one.
In fact when we had completed and I put in a complaint, I think from memory that was my only phone call from her.
The junior staff seemed to be running like blue tailed flies.
I explained right at the beginning that we had bought and sold in excess of 12 properties. We were not IT experts and could we just sit down and you explain everything instead of everything being done online.
The request was ignored.
It was the worst buying and selling experience we had ever had.
I definitely would not recommend to anyone.

Used Taylor Emmet twice before but never the conveyancing department. A very strong start which went downhill for various reasons. Challenging and condescending conversations about solar panels which proved the info provided was the right info, numerous requests for info already provided ie marriage certificate, solar panel, identity info etc emails arrived late into the day and phone alls were often unanswered, told would be looked after by assistant conveyancer when main one was on holiday only to find out they were both on holiday at the same time! Finding out more from sellers estate agents and them going the extra mile rather than our team picking up the phone to the sellers solicitors. Appreciate they have more than one case on their books but they need to manage their time better and improve how they communicate with everyone

Jessica was spot on and exactly what you need when selling a house. She kept us up to date, responded quickly to everything and explained each step. Thank you, Jessica. We are totally pleased with everything.

The team was extremely efficient and delivered everything promptly and closed out sale within 2 months. The communication throughout the process was the best I’ve ever experienced for a property transaction. I’d definitely recommend their services and wouldn’t hesitate to use the team again.

A very professional and efficient service by Sally Todd and Elise at Taylor & Emmet. They were always very prompt at replying to phone calls and emails. Effectively chased our buyers solicitor when they were delaying. Taylor & Emmet have good relationship with Saxton Mee estate agents so both parties kept each other up to date at all times. Would highly recommend Sally and her team.

Lines of communication were good mainly by quick response to my telephone contact. Information regarding possessory title, and land registry confusion caused unnecessary stress & we feel was resolved by vendors intervention & more positive approach by their solicitor.

Highly recommend Taylor Emmet. Communication was excellent which made a house selling process far less stressful than what i was expecting. Would definitely be my go to company if needed in the future.

Utterly terrible
Was told they could represent us and led to think everything was in order and was then dropped as a client without any prior indication and without reason being given.

Taylor Emmett were brilliant right from the beginning. I was on the end of a very tight deadline. The matter was dealt with quickly and efficiently with special mention to Elsa Russell, who really went that extra mile to get a quick turnaround. f you are ever going through a messy probate, you need to use this lady, Phillippa Newbould. She went above and beyond her call of duty dealing with the conveyancing of our late father’s house.

We sold to a solicitor who promised he could complete the sale in five weeks, which also put Phillippa under pressure. She worked so hard for this to happen, but the solicitor buying the property did not keep his promise. Eventually, we got there in the end.

I’m not sure if you give out awards for your employees, but this lady deserves a medal.

I instructed Taylor & Emmet for my recent property purchase and was very happy with the service. My case was managed by Helen Millard and her team, including support from Alex George. I was a first time buyer, so quite inexperienced with the process but they were all very helpful, prompt with their searches and replies, and the online portal was great to get documents sent/ received quickly. There was only 1 small misunderstanding with the expected sum of mortgage funds on the day of exchange, but my lender had very confusingly worded documentation so I don’t fault them for that! Alex was also very accommodating on that day while I called back and forth to check things with my mortgage broker! Would highly recommend Taylor & Emmet for property conveyancing and I will consider using them again in the future.
