Damo's reputation not incorrect

Not sure how this person got so many positive reviews but do not order from him on cardmarket unless you use Trustee service. I was lucky enough that I ordered cheap cards for my collection only and most were poor condition rather than NM. It was difficult communicating with Damo, as he ghosted me and then falsely claimed he partially refunded me. I got the refund after raising ticket with cardmarket. The game was MtG BTW, so please check who you're ordering from before committing to buy. I blocked the user as I use wishlist wizard very often and didn't want to risk getting scammed again.

Damo Bowland is a known scammer

Damo Bowland is a known scammer in the trading card community. He started out with Pokémon, then after scamming hundreds of people in that community went into hiding and popped up in the Metazoo community under a fake name. He has now moved onto Magic The Gathering and DBS under this business name. He is still in some Facebook groups selling Metazoo cards and is also on cardmarket - I have seen a number of complaints about how he lies about card conditions, sends wrong cards, and blocks people who disagree with him or even complain about their incorrect orders (a basic customer service obligation which he chooses to ignore).

Avoid doing business with this man/company at all costs. He is highly dishonest, has abused and harassed admin staff and has left hundreds of people without product they paid for - many of those unfortunate people had to go through their banks to get refunds after Damo put up highly sought-after items on his previous websites with no order limits, with no intention to fill those orders.

Furthermore, he has committed the illegal act of falsely naming another member of the community as the director of his previous failed business TCG Cards on Companies House, in order to direct attention away from himself and towards that unconnected person. This has since been rectified, but that is the kind of man Damo Bowland is.

Let this and other reviews be a warning to steer well clear and save yourself being scammed.

Owner is a SCAMMER

Owner is a scammer. Always has been, always will be. Banned from most UK social media trading card groups for his dodgy dealings. Keeps changing his business name after getting found out again and again and again. AVOID.

NOTORIOUS CON MAN

This is a notorious con man who changed business names after he has scammed his recent victims. If you purchase from this store or any of its replacements you will never receive your order. In this case if you’re ordering a product that’s still in stock here but immediately sold out everywhere else it’s a case of it’s too good to be true. If it’s too late and you’ve already paid contact your bank immediately and explain, they’ll be able to reverse the charges. If you paid via PayPal open a dispute immediately. This store will not refund you.

DON'T DO IT

Please please please. Do yourself a favour and go check out damo bowland on almost any uk Facebook group relating to trading cards. Whether its metazoouk.co.uk or his previous pokemon scam set up. A constant, toxic, scamming, resilient piece of sh!t who does not know when to crawl back under his rock. This worthless person will not give up trying to scam people. They don't have the capability of earning an honest living so will only resort to criminal activity. There is a huge community waiting for this name and person to stop existing and fingers crossed it'll be sometime very very soon.
