It's light enough, I'm disabled but still manage ok with it, and its ideal for doing the stairs. It seems very solidly built, even has little headlights in the brush head, just in case you want to vacuum in the dark. Overall I'm very impressed with the power of this cleaner, and it suits my needs perfectly.
Read the other reviews but was skeptical as we have a shedding cat and carpet floors. We didn't vacuum our carpet for two weeks, so that we could really test this vacuum out. Very lightweight, pretty quiet, and comes with everything needed. The suction power is better than I expected and it is great for picking up the cat hair. All in all, very impressed, and definitely worth the price.
