Fraudulent transactions

TD Bank is one of the worst bank in Canada

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience with TD Bank Canada. As a long-time customer, I expected a higher standard of service and professionalism than what I encountered.This issue has been happening multiple times, I experienced poor customer service, unexpected blocking my account without any explaination. I was told to contact the closest branch to resolve my issue, after being on the phone for almost one hour. the issue remains unresolved and has caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. This is not first time, it has been happening multiple time. I have never ever seen such dimissive behavior, etc...

Wonderful Service. Fabulous. Great listeners. Helpful. Patient. Kind - Caring. Please force push or apply my $200 also if possible. Best Bank ever! Mean Green Fughting Team of Winners and Champs ! Branch staff great, phone customer service not

First I'd like to say the staff at my particular branch - Latham NY - are fantastic. However, they are limited in what they can do. Sooo, calling customer service is a nightmare! After multiple entries - 2.5 minutes worth - you get the hold music waiting for a representative. It always takes longer than 6 minutes to get a live person.

Even the simplest question means a 20-30 minute phone call.

I noticed money Laundering

I noticed money Laundering , I stood in line with my 50 dollr check, Watching the other members of Raymond Chun aka ceo of TD Bank , walk in Smiling with their bags and or suitcases of money which is I am sure falls into compliance of AML , happily deposit all their money ,knowing they will be taken care of .
On the other end of the line is me begging to have my $50.00 check cashed, I see smiles then frown, cause here I am being pushed out of the way by the people hiding behind the glass window office. I tried to speak to a member with a suitcase , maybe that person could cash my check, yet ,that was a no go.... All this cash flowing in ,and yet I go to teller, and finally got a smile, they respond you so funny,, broke ass, u owe us 100.00 cash
I turned in awe and saw a light halo AHHHHH MR CHON appeared , he pleasantly escorted me out,,, but I ready for him , I have IRS outside,,,he dropped me as I said u money laundering , fool. You Robbing ,cheating self making everyone think your bank is still open,, you owe 3 Billion in lawsuites.... yep members read about TD Bank.

freeze other people's money

I had a terrible experience with TD bank. They blocked my money for several years, and no one cares. They're used to taking other people's money on orders from above to fuel their own operations. It's impossible to resolve any issues; the service is rubbish.

Definite issues with TD Bank

- had to beg for an hour while out of country to have my limit raised from $1,000 to $2,000 on my US Visa card. Got a $7000 limit at BMO - no problem
- failed to notify me that they had put a freeze on my US Visa card when they thought there was fraudulent activity - there wasn't.
- fail to identify their Bank on caller ID when calling

TD Bank - Unprofessional - Yonge and Erskine

Yonge and Erskine - Toronto Branch. Extremely unprofessional and horrible experience. Made me wait 20 minutes for an appointment which they were aware of earlier this week. Then the manager insisted on giving me a zero-balance Starbucks gift card as a token of apology. This branch of TD should really should learn how to treat customers properly and respect customers' time!

Terrible credit card decision…

Terrible credit card decision department service! Recently applied for a credit card,and experienced very badly with their services. First lied to call me but my never rang ,finally got a call from them but unfriendly communicated with confusing to confirm why she called, and even worse hang the call with not good call quality excuse.

I had credit card that has been closed…

I had credit card that has been closed since 2022 went pay full remaining balance in one of the branches got the receipt but my mortgage required balance confirmation because I was getting new mortgage so I call them they are worst bank that I ever dealt with they refused to give me letter of confirmation the manager Steve was lazy didn’t even want to look in to it the worst experience i ever have will never open any accounts wit TD ever had to pay lawyers to confirm my pay off card.

Disgusting Customer service

What happened to TD Bank. Used to be a great institution with great customer service.
NOT ANYMORE!!!
Wow what a terrible customer service and the only thing you get from them is I'm Sorry but NO SOLUTIONS.
I have started moving elsewhere

GREEDY

TERRIBLE bank, used to be much better 10 years ago. Too many account fees and random charges like a $0.02 monthly "overdraft interest" being charged despite there being no over drafts on the account. This is in addition to their many account and withdrawal fees. BORDERLINE CRIMINAL. You can find a better bank trust me .

Paycheque Hold

Last week for the first time in over 2 years TD put a hold on my paycheque. I have been paid by cheque from the same employer for 2 years without any holds. TD can’t give me a reason why. It has been over a week and it is still on hold. While on hold TD decided to take some of my pay before I can touch it. What a rip off of a bank. I will be closing my account once my pay clears the hold, if it clears. Tangerine is a lot better.

I give them a zero star I asked for…

I give them a zero star I asked for them to temporarily put a hold on my debit card because I lost my phone. Instead they cancelled both credit and debit card I have no access to any funds. Called the bank and was hung up on after a 12 minute conversation and nobody called back like they claimed. There resolution is that I go directly to the bank and request a new card. I seriously hope that agent has as bad a day as I'm having right now.

TD not for the Little Guy

I was a Client of TDs since 2021 when I open a Credit card with them. After my Husband passed I needed to raises the limit so I can pay my utilities and was flat out declined. Insufficient client, needed to make a certain amount of money a month, even though I had no previous issue paying my credit card before. Within 24hours I closed all my accounts with TD and left for greener pastures

TD Bk - Gross incompetence

Gross incompetence, useless branch people and their managers, going to branch is a waste of time, calling all their 1 800 nr is just passing you from one to another like a ping pong ball.
Hiring a chinese president it shows the decline, that is this guy Raymond Chun. Fire him!
TD bank is a disaster, overall 1.4 stars. Fire all executive ppl, they don't deserve to get paid.
I'm furious and fed up with this bank- I wish everyone leaves TD.
I would give negative stars to TD.
Shame on their executive team- all inept, crooks!

When I have a problem I don’t want to…

When I have a problem I don’t want to call India…when I go to the branch I don’t want to wait 1.5hours in line…

When I log in, after having the same password for 21 years they make me change it. Then they lock me out…then they make me come to the branch…why? Wealthsimple solved these problems over the phone…

Why do we put up with this? TD has more branches in America than Canada now and they are starting to treat us like it…why do we put up with this?
