I just wanted to add my say.

I was sceptical about buying a TDI tuning box over getting a remap but being a newer bmw it was a case of having the ecu sent off to be unlocked, leaving me without a car that I need daily and then it being removed by bmw every time it went in.

After thinking about it for a few months I decided to try the TDI tuning box.

Here are my details for my car.

I can confirm that I am a happy customer for the time being, I followed the instructions installing the device and left it on setting 4 for 40 miles before changing anything.

I have a big difference with my car now on setting 7 it feels like sport mode with more power and it's only in comfort mode.

In sport mode and sport gearbox the power is brilliant. I also tried it on setting 1 and it feels how the car is normally that is now boring, slow and frankly no fun.

I have only had the car 5 months and was bored after 3, this has brought my car back to life.

I have no lights, no issues and the Bluetooth works as it should, it never reverts back to any settings then the last one I used and with a 5 year warranty I'm good with it.

These are just my opinions and everyone will experience different things with different cars.

I just wanted to be honest with the company, my car and the review.

Today I am asked for a price reprogramming a tuning box only no wiring harness required update can be pushed via app over Bluetooth and price came £141.97 considering no wiring harness required also need to pay delivery fee for nothing.

I've had to remove the tuning box from my vehicle again due to fuel rail offset test fault, increased DPF pressure fault and now it's developed visible smoke from the rear (un-burnt fuel) This is the 1st time for the visible smoke.
What ever has caused this has caused the dpf to block after 70 miles.
Downloaded the new map last week.
Taken my vehicle for a run last night and re-scaned, no faults apart from the dpf back pressure fault (P480A)
Again this fault has only occurred over the last month or so ?
Hopefully i should be able to clean the DPF but I will never be refitting this tuning box, and will advise anyone with diesel vehicles Euro 4 and above never to buy a tuning box.
It has caused me extortionate amount of problems and cost me time any money chasing faults that have all been relating to the tuning box even though you say it's not related.
I have proved that the problems that I have experienced over the last year have been down the the tuning box.
I will now be seeking legal advise to recover some of the cost relating to the above.

Extremely quick delivery even all the way out to Australia had a few little technical issues but they sorted within a day completely as advertised my t 60 is about 1 to 1.5liters per 100km better on fuel and it holds top gear effortlessly great product

I run my own garage plus as a 40yr plus mechanic id like to think i know my way round cars.
This unit was bought with my own money and for my own car for my own use.

Being a 60 yr “Old Git” i was always sceptical of “Tuning” or “Computer hacking” a cars brain as surly any manufacture spends millions getting any car “Just so”… Boy was I was wrong!

So whats the story? Well from the start, impressive service and customer care!

The tuning box arrived prompt well packed and nice easy clear instructions and btw if you get in a pickle there are loads of instal videos avl on YouTube to help you out.

After an initial issue with car communication with the box, i spoke with Jake and i sent a video of the instal as direct in the ins and after another chat with Jake he suggested a return of the unit (Free of charge at their cost) to check for any issues.

To my surprise it was returned within 72 hours with a bluetooth upgrade which was a pleasant surprise and simple to use i might ad.

Installed tested works perfect!!!

Now for any doubters out there (Like i was) the car was totally stock ran a dyno at 307bhp and 629nm prior to instal then fitted tuning box and ran the car as directed for 40miles (actually done 50) and re ran dyno with a resulting…381bhp and 761nm!!

The car is now night and day different.
It was a fair quick car before, well for a 4 door saloon diesel, but now it’s bloody rapid, like the kind of “wtf just happened” Rapid plus an added bonus is the fuel is up from 42mpg avg to 49mpg (based on daily 55 mile round trip work commute).

So in summary:
If you, like me, are or were sceptical/affraid of tuning boxes, don't be! They DO work. The cost, simplicity and convenance is worth the money all day long.

Quick feedback when i had a querie .very helpful

The race chip for my Mercedes A35 2025 didn't work and I had to pay for the postage, which is unacceptable. There reason was they think it didn't have the wiring fitted correctly but it had and only plug in will only fit the correct connectors as per their diagram.

The whole purchasing process was easy and fast. The results after fitting the TDI module to my 2015 Sprinter 316CDi has been amazing. So much smoother and torquier when driving, with great fuel economy considering the power upgrade. Very happy with my purchase.

TDI, Absolutely brilliant company to deal with. If you are on the fence about getting one of their Tuning Boxes , don’t be.
I have a Land Rover Discovery Sport and the difference since fitting the Tuning Box is absolutely unbelievable, I can honestly say it has totally changed the car’s performance and massively changed the fuel consumption as well.
I don’t write reviews at all normally but this product needs to be seriously considered, if only for the saving on fuel costs. ( especially during the current war crisis which has sent prices soaring)

Since installing the TDI Tuning module I have seen the increase in power as expected. But the real gem is the significant increase in economy. This module has no doubt already paid for itself in the savings I've made buying fuel. The only flaw has been connecting via Bluetooth, which in truth has not been a major issue, as I made the module easily accessible under the bonnet.

Ordered the tuning box for my sons VW Passat 132TSI as it had a fair bit less hp than he was used to. He runs it on setting number 4 and is more than happy with the increase in power and decrease in fuel use. Easy to install and operate with the app. Very impressed.

More power and better economy. Have had the unit in my car a couple months now and save about 0.8 kms per litre over what it was before. Very happy.

It's been 3 months since I got my order from TDI tuning.

Great instructions were provided that were so clear, my 15 year old daughter fitted the leads for me(smaller fingers were useful, but she didn't need my guidance at all!).

Once fitted we followed the instructions to get the ECU working with the tuning box. Then on with the Bluetooth and give it the beans!

The Power change on my Seat, whilst modest, was instantly noticeable. Fuel economy over the months I've had the box has been almost identical to before, and I use the extra power often.

If I drive sensibly with the chip on a low setting, I see greater MPG than before install. Very handy during oil price hikes!

I drive the length of Wales twice monthly on A roads, and the balance of economy vs power has been incredible. The power when shooting from 35 to 60mph (maybe a little over) is staggering. Top end isn't affected, but getting there is much quicker.

10/10 product. BUT...
I can't help feel the Bluetooth control should be standard for all. That's my only criticism!

Very happy customer, and I'll consider TDI Tuning again in future if I buy a car with a locked down ECU again. In fact, I might just get one for the wife's car!

I use my 73 player Ford ranger XLT for towing. I’ve been very disappointed with its power so was very close to spending a further 8k on a wild track. As these ECU’s are blocked and can’t be mapped I found TDI tuning. For £350 I took a gamble to see if it worked. After 10mins I had it all plugged in.
Cut a long story short it was the £350 I’ve ever spent. It has transformed the performance of my truck immensely. I have it set in mode 5 all the time for towing, daily driving and motorways and it never skips a beat. I have now done 5k miles with no issues at all.
I’m not one for leaving reviews but this definitely deserves one.

Communication was excellent, even asking for a picture of the engine bay, to make sure I received the correct box. Arrived quick, and installation was simple. Boost gains are insane, when on setting 7 turn traction control off, to avoid it kicking in.

What a buy most amazing

I installed the TDI piggyback system on my 2025 VW GTI 5k miles ago. It has performed flawlessly and I can feel real gains in torque. The only surprise was the $180 tariff levied after the purchase. Not a fault of TDI but it may be helpful getting a reminder from them that their product is subject to a tariff.

Their product range is great - plug & play. Staff/Owners are so generous with time/advice. i ordered & received box & then asked if they could fit it - took <1 hr & was done for free. If L1 car tune-up only required then this firm has best priced pre-set up boxes tuned per car type/make. Links to blue tooth very well allowing enhancement of BHP by 1-7 levels on mobile. Box can also be hidden easily.

Absolutely first class service. After a brief conversation over the phone I opted for the Bluetooth version. It arrived on time and was well packaged. The installation instructions are spot on and with in 15 minutes it was installed and I was up and running.
I’ve noticed a vast improvement in performance and fuel economy.
I thoroughly recommend TDI Tuning to anyone.
