I have purchased a few of these over the years through TDI and I have always appreciated the improved driving experience. Installation can be a bit fiddly however the instructions and pictures do help.

From the first contact the TDI tuning were very professional.The item turned up exactly as described and was a very quick install. I tow a caravan along and to be able to switch modes whilst driving through the app is a great addition.
Can't recommend highly enough.

I have used this company twice - once for the initial unit and then a second time for it to be programmed for a different vehicle. On both occasions the units have worked exceptionally well. I would recommend and use again.

An absolute joke of a company.
Order a chip in early December 2025. After a week, it hadn't arrived, and the tracking indicated that it was being returned to TDI due to being refused at delivery.
When I informed TDI, they said they would send it out again when it came back. A week later, when I asked again, they stated they hadn't had it back. I then just asked for a refund, which they agreed to.
Another week later, when I asked about my refund, they stated the refund had been done (lies, lies ,lies).
They are now saying they are not refunding this until they receive it back and blaming FEDEX for it, even though it was sent by Parcelforce.
DON'T RISK YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. there are other who do the same product.

Waste of money was quoted a power increase of 42 horsepower and car has no performance gain whatsoever and acceleration is unchanged

I recently bought a tdi tuning box for my Audi SQ5 after having used this product a few years ago on an Audi A3 with great results.
Delivery was quick as expected.
The harness was so easy to fit, it took less than 15 minutes.
After starting the car for the first time a coil and engine management light came up on the dashboard.
I gave the team a call for some help and the customer support was second to none.
A technician had called me back within 10 minutes and talked me through potential issues and fixes.
After following the advice and refitting the harness the problem was fixed, no more lights on the dashboard.
Noticeable performance gains were there from the first drive, solid power right through the rev range and consistent improved efficiency of around 5-7miles mpg.
Cannot rate this product and the team highly enough and would recommend they products to anyone. (Which I already have and two of my friends have theirs on order).

Hi, recently received my TDI tuning box, it took less than half an hour to install great product good quality wiring harness perfect length to mount on top of fuse box on my D40 Navara, blue tooth works well, as for performance it's next level, I'm super happy with the unit, service and price. A few months after receiving this product I took it to a rolling road. The power went from 379bhp to 425 bhp, I think that’s well worth the cost of one of these tuning boxes. They are also very easy to fit. Another good point to note is the customer service I received.

very impressed with the speed of response from TDI, after a couple of years of faultless operation i sent my Tuning Box back for a check, it was posted back the day arrived, communication is faultless, this is how it should be done, other businesses could learn from TDI Tuning

Brilliant experience, had my box remapped for my mini sd, had it on previous mini, great turn around only a few days and a big difference as always and of course what happens, a week later another car came up to good to let go.
Contacted DTI and they reprogrammed box for new car free of charge ......
Again very quick turn around and excellent service and customer experience 100%

I purchased this quite a while ago and have finally got it fitted and what a difference it makes, extra power with better fuel economy. Brilliant product,highly recommend.

Initially after doing my own research I thought everything would go smoothly. However, after a couple of weeks of using the box it suddenly failed. Customer service was great and I return the box for a repair/replacement. Tdi tuning confirmed my box had a fault. They sent over a prepaid DHL label and I returned.

I received my new box a few days later and was excited about getting it installed. Once I had installed, I once again had a flashing glow plug light which was non-existent until the installation of the TDI tuning box. I double checked the installation and I double checked I followed all procedures. But still the fault remained. I also ended up going up a hill and had little to no power so I had to disconnect. I then contacted TDI tuning who the said they would like more pictures of the wiring ect. At this point i was getting inpatient, after spending £305.00 on a device that did not work.

Please bare in mind, I changed my own drive shafts, installed an android head unit, changed discs, pads, bearings, steering knuckle assembly. So I am competent and knowledgeable about cars and it seemed they were trying to blame it on my competence.

Anyway, I ended up forgetting about it until I was going to sell the car and remembered.

I then raised an email requesting a return and a full refund which was declined as 30 days had past.

Tdi tuning offered to alter for my new car but to be honest I don't want it going on my new vehicle after everything that has gone one.

5 star customer service, and the product is 5 star until it stops working which is usually weeks later.

Web experience was a bit confusing for a US Volvo. However, one email to support and I had the correct kit number for my motor. Shipping was quick and well packed. Installation was straightforward with the well illustrated instructions. A bit of a hitch finding the serial number for Bluetooth pairing but finally found it Just completed today, so still in baseline learning mode. Overall the experience with TDI was brilliant. I look forward to the results.

The team were amazing, I opted to have a go at fitting myself and when things went wrong the guys at TDI squeezed me in and accommodated a quick resolve, explained what I had done wrong and the car now drives fantastic....better than it did from new!!!!! would strongly recommend and will :-)
