A nightmare of having to keep an eye on emails and then fingers crossed as to whether you are ‘chosen’. After applying for 5 jobs today did not get one.

Simple, clear and easy to use. Keeps all timesheets together and accessible.

Teacher Booker is the ONLY agency that treats it's supply staff as they deserve to be treated. I worked with various agencies who give me little/ no respect reflected in my pay/the way they manage my time/ the communication they feel they need to give to me, and then I found teacher booker. The team are kind and will always give me the time of day, they pay me well and always on time, they negotiate with schools for me and always have my back. I've worked with them for years now and I love my job.

The system is fairly user friendly. Would be good if there was more options around the dates & times function. We often have jobs for part time positions on particular days of the week over several weeks and the current format does not allow for you to choose this details, otherwise good.

Form is simple to complete.
Option to send applicant a direct email with specifics about the supply job might be useful?

I find Teacher Booker fairly straight forward, now that we have got in to the way of using it. Any issues that I have had are answered quickly through the chat.

This was a new system introduced for our use and the level of information provided and training given was excellent. Teacher Booker staff are very quick to respond to questions raised via their online chat function and there is also a wide range of self help topics which offer guidance and solutions. The system is very easy to navigate and enjoyable to use.

Great Service much slicker than previous procedures

I agree with the other one star review I’m afraid. It seems like a “fastest finger” gets the job-so if you are not able to access your emails until the end of the day you stand little chance of getting the job. Then there’s the back and forth of inviting, confirming, accepting and so on (I’ve waited so long for a response that I’ve accepted another job Witt another company). When I raised this with Norfolk county council they suggested I go round to the schools I want to work at with my CV which surely defeats the object..? I work for another supply agency which when given an offer I accept or decline-just a shame that they take a huge commission. An aside is that even when I have put the dates in I’m available I get sent jobs outside of these-so annoying! Has to be a better way of getting supply work Teacher Booker??

Excellent customer service, but the system is designed for the schools and not supply teachers.
If the schools receive a lot of applications then how are they going to make their decision???
It should be the first person who applies for the job (in a large supply pool) gets it.
Otherwise, they are going to use the profile picture to make a judgement and they may "favour" a particular look, age, gender, nationality, etc.....
Changes need to be made to the system so that there is equality and it is being monitored.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I'm kept updated at all times. The website is really well thought-out. It's easy to use. All the information is there. Good choice of schools to accept jobs from.

Teacher booker is the best agency that I came across in September 2021. Their transparency about job offer, role for supply staff and the support are outstanding. Their salary is higher compare to other agencies I have worked with. I started as a Ta for a Sen school now I have a permanent and full contract job from the school.
