The service was easy to access, staff were friendly and approachable. This service has helped me with my maternity in making the year affordable with no stress. He forms were simple and the breakdown was clear. I would recommend to anyone would is planning on taking maternity.

Teacher SPL is an incredibly valuable service—I’m so grateful I was told about it, though I only wish I’d known sooner.

Although school policy suggests you have to share your SPL, that’s not always the case, and Teacher SPL guides you through every step of the process. They even help complete the paperwork, which is a lifesaver when you’re already running on little sleep during maternity leave.

Bethan was fantastic—so supportive, approachable, and never made me feel like any question was too small.

If you’re planning to go on maternity leave or are already on maternity leave, I’d highly recommend getting in touch with Teacher SPL.

Everyone at Teacher’s SPL were really helpful and supportive providing advice on not just the process but also on approaching conversations with HR. Responses were always quick and everyone I spoke to was always really knowledgeable about the processes. Having looked at the paperwork myself and finding it complicated and overwhelming Teacher’s SPL took the stress out of the process and I saw the small fee as an investment in my maternity leave with what I have now gained financially.

I paid for the last minute service a couple of days before the deadline to apply for SPL for the Easter holidays. Kinza was fantastic and helped me to complete my application so quickly, literally within a couple of hours! The support of Teacher’s SPL helped me to get 9 weeks full pay during my maternity leave. The service is great value for money and makes the process so much easier when you have a new baby to care for.

Absolutely amazing service. Really quick to answer my initial request and then answered all my follow up questions promptly. The man who helped me also recalculated for me because I wasn't sure which return date I wanted. Literally given me thousands back into my wages.

Teachers SPL service was a fantastic investment in gaining me over a month of additional full pay and saving me a lot of time in completing the forms and fretting over wording to HR. Kinza is very efficient with responses and has great attention to detail. Very pleased with the service and would absolutely recommend to others.

I cannot recommend this service enough - it isn't advertised as much as it should be in schools but any teacher would be foolish not to use this service. For a small fee we had multiple forward and backward emails with the amazing Claire who was more than helpful and guided us through the whole application and continued to help with questions we had later down the line. Don't question doing this service, just do it.

A really easy to use service from start to finish. Kinza was so knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had with ease. We were really happy wit the level of support offered even after the plan was agreed and paperwork sent to our employers. It completely took all the stress out of having to navigate the process on your own.

I was really struggling with completing the forms. Great communication and completed forms very quickly. If I'd have completed them myself I wouldn't have got anywhere near as much money during maternity leave. Completely worth it, would highly recommend.

Paying for SPL teachers was the best decision I made. They resolved my issue within 2 weeks, which had taken me months going back and forth with my school. I highly recommend them to help remove stress and have your issues resolved quickly. Wish I’d used their services sooner!
