They ignore you

The sofa quality is decent and the price was decent t however their customer service was shocking.

There was a minor problem with delivery and I tried several avenues to contact them which were all ignored.

I tried email, ignored, messenger ignored, phone calls rang out and their WhatsApp only answered me several weeks later after sofa was delivered.

If the customer sevrve had been better this would have been a better review.

Had my sofa two years.

Had my sofa two years.. recliner has broke on one side. The speakers don’t work properly
There a big black stain on the seat.. not good quality not happy with how much I paid.
It is comphy tho but to many things wrong with in two years of having it

Poor quality. Poor communication and customer service.

Avoid this company at all costs. One of the sofa recliners broke. I tried various methods of communication to get in touch with them for a number of weeks with no response. Eventually got a hold of someone and they arranged for someone to come and look at it. We were told it would require a new motor and it would be ordered. Months have now past and still got a broken sofa. No communication again. When I eventually get an answer on the phone I get told the person I need to speak to is never in the office. Once i did speak to the correct person I get told the parts are still on order. There is no apology for the delay. Don't waste your money with this company.

We have had our Tech5 Leather sofas for about 7-months now, and they still look like new
There was only one issue, and that was repaired really quickly!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would!
I feel reviews on here with 5 stars are not to be trusted! I’m now into 9 weeks since buying a sofa with them and no sofa has arrived.
I have now contacted, citizens advice to see about reporting them to the ombudsman and I’ve also emailed watch dog BBC as well!
Do not be fooled by C*****’s hilarity and promises. I’ve also been in contact with others that are also having endless issues with this company through comments they have left on there Facebook pages appearing the same as me 1 highly pissed off.
We ordered a large corner sofa with them through the reduced to clear section in July - it was ideal as we needed a sofa quickly and it was advertised as 2-4 week delivery. After not hearing anything for 3 weeks I connected them via what’s app where C***** managed to actually reply to me and say there was an issue with the sofa we bought and could we select another one and it would be dispatched to us on August 20th sounds great we picked the same day, confirmation arrived the very next day!
Then this is where it starts going very downhill. Kept checking for tracking details of dispatch by the
24th August I though I better message on what’s app to see - no reply
Messaged again 25th August - no reply
26th August an email arrived confirming someone has been arranged to collect the couch and we would receive tracking info in due course, yes tracking info appeared, our couch was now in Leeds and had been collected.. tracking info didn’t move for 2 weeks - contacted tech sofa asking why hasn’t our couch moved - no reply - called was told they were working out a pathway and it would be with us very soon, eventually I knew something wasn’t right contacted the delivery company myself and was told they do not deliver to the highlands so they couldn’t be delivering a couch to us and tech sofa were aware of this so to contact them - already spoke to them 10 minutes prior but yes this time C***** admitted defeat - starting to get pissed pff now but trying my hardest to be nice to let C***** arrange another courier even gave her some names of couriers to help along - we are now 2 weeks further along and nothing! I’ve messaged them on what’s app asking for updates several times with no reply - even though c***** always says she replies to everyone she’s never replied to me once since the initial issue!
The phone line is more often than not never answered. Today now today I will admit I lost the plot on the phone but to be honest if C***** was treated the way we have been I’m sure she would have had a few more choice words to say before now.
We have asked for a refund to end this absolutely disaster and how long do we all think this will take!
When you live in the highlands you always expect a longer delivery but this has taken the absolute mick - we aren’t in any way remote we are a big enough town located within the highlands on the mainland.
Please everyone go elsewhere and save yourself! Just to now add - the company have today sent an email to my husband to say the sofa was delivered after me asking for a refund - AVOID AT ALL COSTS EVERYONE. Thankfully the finance company have this in hand and we will not have any issues getting the money we have paid back.

Just to update the company have said my review here is false and have tried to get it taken down on the grounds I have names there staff member which is hilarious that even after all the above they can’t just apologise!

I will add to this after your reply - I swore once on the phone at the end of a long 9 week wait - to be honest I was very very nice to you on many occasions when you were again just robbing me off! You might have something on your website now but I can assure you nothing was there prior to this - and the sofa went through as normal with no warnings you do not deliver to the highlands - as per the very long read above - all that needed said from the start was you were unable to fulfil the order but you just kept fobbing me off and saying there wouldn’t be a problem the couch would definitely get delivered! Unbelievable response from an unbelievable crowd to deal with

As per our website we don't deliver to certain areas but we did try our hardest as a company to get this furniture to you, unfortunately every avenue there was an issue and we were unable to get your furniture out to you. Initially I was apprehensive about purchasing a sofa online. But the company has been brilliant. Good communication. Two nice guys delivered the sofa, assembled it and were very professional. Delighted with my purchase.

Communication issues

I have placed an order for a new sofa, but didn't hear anything from techsofa until today. I have tried to contact them via email, WhatsApp and phone, and had no response.
My wife managed to speak to someone end of last week, as we initially thought we were scammed.
I received a cordial call this morning, acknowledging there is a stock delay, and most importantly for me, there was an issue with communication.
I am editing my review up to 2 stars, and will rewrite (possibly re-rate) it based on my experience with the delivery and product quality.

Update: We have received the sofa and we are happy with it. The delivery service was great, and communication improved greatly once Carrie got engaged. She was helpful end responsive, so I am increasing my rate as she improved my experience.

Delivered damaged / replacement received 16/10/2025

Delivered damaged ! Was told I have to have a repair as said item was out of stock yet still available online?
Castellan have not been in touch either! Poor customer service!
I only want what I've paid for which is a new working sofa.
Just to update on this I have received my replacement sofa this morning without any issues, the service this time has been exceptional, within 3 days of the item coming back into stock it has been delivered and installed and the old one taken away. Just to point out the damage was caused in transit and nothing to do with the actual furniture itself. Carrie was professional as to my concerns and now I have what I've paid for, lovely quality furniture, so thank you for the prompt replacement

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service, they answered any concerns I had and we received a sofa that is ideal for us in 3 weeks. If I had one gripe it would be that even though we paid for the extra warranty, there were no details supplied in the, hopefully unlikely, event of a malfunction. Saying that I am sure they would help if I had to reach out to them, thank you tech sofa we love our Series 1 pro tech sofa
