VIP Category Disaster
I attended Adriatique X Istanbul organized by TemaCC and unfortunately had one of the most disappointing premium event experiences I have encountered.
A VIP Lounge ticket category worth approximately 7,000 TL was used for this event. However, due to incorrect wristband allocation and extremely poor category management, I effectively spent the night in an area equivalent to the General Upgrade category, which was sold for around 1,500 TL.
The most frustrating part was not the mistake itself, but the complete failure to resolve it.
Staff members were giving contradictory information regarding VIP Lounge, reserved areas, backstage access and category entitlements. Many appeared not to understand the access structure themselves. While trying to resolve the issue, I spent a significant part of the event speaking with staff and contacting the organization through WhatsApp instead of enjoying the experience I had paid for.
What made the situation even more concerning was that I personally witnessed participants with the same category having their wristbands corrected, while my own issue remained unresolved despite repeated attempts to obtain assistance.
This was not an isolated incident. I encountered other attendees experiencing similar category and access problems, suggesting a broader operational issue rather than a one-off misunderstanding.
Premium pricing creates premium expectations. Unfortunately, the service delivered did not match the category that was sold.
I hope TemaCC takes customer feedback seriously and improves its category management, customer support and on-site operations in future events.
