The team at Tempest are the most supportive bunch of individuals I've met in a long time. Mandy and the girls; Gemma, Sooz to name a few have welcomed into the family with open arms and legs. They have helped me to point my toes with precision and tuck my chin in tight! Oh and made me feel I can achieve so much if I have self belief! I look forward to every class I book on and love spending time their with my beardy man! X

I started at tempest dance studio last January and I would never ever look back. I have dropped 5 dresses sizes within a year, made some amazing new friends and found a new fantastic hobby!
I have been through a ruff patch in my life and everyone at tempest helped me through it! It is genuinely like an extended family! Everyone is so nice and helpful. In the whole time I have been there is have never hurd anybody have a bad word to say about anyone! So yer TEMPEST IS AMAZING!

Staff are so supportive and encouraging. I urge anyone to give Tempest a go, the timetable is great, the class variety is amazing & everyone is friendly. Definitely the place to try something new!

I have achieved so much from attending Tempest.
Not only have a improved my upper and core strength, I have also been able to try a range of aerial disciplines and made great friends too.
The teachers are friendly, supportive and encouraging.

Without exaggeration, taking up pole dance classes at the Tempest Studio was the best decision I made in 2016. What started as a little act of rebellion on my part has since then developed into a passion which I have every reason to believe will last for years.

The staff at Tempest are amazing at encouraging people to believe in themselves and in their skills and it would have been impossible for my self-esteem not to grow a little with each class.

They are great at working with people of all levels of fitness and experience (often at the same time) whilst always paying attention to the individual needs of each and every person. What I really enjoy about Tempest Studio is that each class feels highly personalized and designed to suit every person attending.

I have regularly taken advantage of the option of a private class and, despite my very limited availability, the staff have been great at always finding time for me in their busy schedule.

Classes at the Tempest Studio are always the most enjoyable and stimulating time of my week, I always look forward to them and always leave smiling wishing that I could just stay there the whole day.

I can hardly express in words just how grateful I am and how lucky I feel to have discovered Tempest; pole dancing has truly been the most fun, rewarding and motivating thing I have done in years.

This place offers some amazing classes including dance, pole, trapeze, aerial hoop and silks. There are many adult classes and also some aerial classes for children. It doesn't matter about your age, your size, your fitness or your previous dance experience. There is something here for absolutely everyone. So don't think you can't because believe me you can. Coming to Tempest is honestly one of the best things I ever did.

Tempest dance studio is probably the most welcoming and inclusive place I know. The instructors are fantastic and make time for everyone. They adapt moves to suit each individual and they support all students to achieve anything they aspire to and more. They are all brilliant dancers and teachers with a very high level of training and experience.

I started pole lessons here last year as an absolute beginner with no confidence at all. I am now so much fitter and stronger and able to do moves in never thought possible. It's actually a bit of an addiction (in a good way) as I always want to go to class and I always want to get better. It's also a great work out without ever feeling like it is hard work.

And it's not just about learning to dance or learning aerial arts. Classes are relaxed and so much fun and I have made some great friends. No matter how bad a day you may have I guarentee you will leave the studio with a smile on your face.

I cannot recommend this dance studio highly enough. I would happily spend all my free time here. I achieve something new every class and my strength and confidence has improved dramatically. This place is special and it feels like home.

My daughter started the Aerial Skills class in July 2016 and it was been one of the best things she has ever done. My daughters confidence has grown so much, down to her aerial skills class. The teachers are great and I know my daughter is always going to be safe when she is at class. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for something a little bit different for the children to try.

I started Aerial Silks lessons by accident.
Me and two friends planned to attend a Pole Dancing lesson, but it was fully booked (as seen from the website) so we thought, what the heck, why not try Aerial Silks.

Such a fantastic accident.
Over 4 lessons we went from not knowing what Aerial Silks was, to doing complex (if slightly painful) moves, wraps and descents.

After the 4 lessons I started doing Aerial Hoop lessons (the second lesson is in a few days) which, likewise, was fantastically fun. So incredibly elegant (same as silks) and easy to get into. The instructor, Mandy, is a great teacher, easy to understand and always entertaining.
Safety is a key part of what we learn, and the instructors are very supportive to people who are not very flexible (like me), not very strong or are struggling with a move.

Cannot recommend enough!
