The sales lady was excellent because she help me find the right recliner that I needed for my disability. The store is in Ancaster Ontario.
Thank you
We received our couch on Jan 26th, 2024, a month late from when I bought it from the London store. When it came the couch was damaged and the delivery guys damaged my door frame taking it downstairs, then asked me to sign a damage waiver. Yea right. That wasn't happening. I have called and called; every time they say someone will get back to you to resolve the issue. A service tech came out on Feb 16th, 2024, and brought the wrong part to fix part of the couch. Now I am waiting again for a repair date. As far as the door frame damage a manager was to call me on Feb. 21st, 2024, for the 3rd time and still no phone call. I would never buy from this store again. they are nice when they want you to buy their products, but once you buy and pay, they make you wait for your product, if its damaged they are hard to get ahold of and takes weeks for them to call you back and get things fixed. Never again. It's called BUYER BEWARE.
I bought a couch for my cottage, between Christmas and new years of 2022. One of the couch cushion developed a small hole along a seam probably only sat on a maximum of 20 times, called tepperman's customer service no big deal set up a repair. Technician came took him about 5mins to sew up the couch cushion, we spoke and he was a super guy he said it probably would not last as there was not enough material in the cover to repair it properly he would make note of it in the file that it likely needs a new cover. Well 5 months later his stiches pop i figure no big deal and call tepperman's Well that's when the good service ends spend 45min to an hour on the phone to get a nice individual very polite, I explain how its been repaired earlier in the year she looks it up on file and is like no problem we will open a claim the next day i get a call from customer service we talk she says i will get an email with what they need to proceed i explain they should have all my original photos on file she looks and say yup we have them if you can just send an updated photo of the area so i do, a few days later i get an email saying they need all the required photos and they send examples, I reply back with please call me and i proceed to send all the original photos as its at my cottage and I don't go there very often,a few days go by and they reply back saying they got a blank email, I resend This goes on for a few week finally they call a few weeks ago and i explain again we set up a service call no biggies i arrange to have my mother be at the cottage on Feb 8th to meet the technician he says we need to order a new cover. Feb 9th teppermans customer service calls and says your couch is out of its one year warranty and I would have to pay for repairs.
A clear factory defect that was reported and repaired noted it was a temporary fix and they will not do anything
My friend and I went into Teppermans in Chatham to purchase a recliner chair. Now, I am 74 and she is 75. When the salesman went to his desk to do the paperwork, the desk was elevated and the chairs were like bar stools due to the height of the desk. I told the salesman that my friend was, at age 75, unable to climb onto the stool, so she was forced to stand while the transaction and delivery details were conducted. At no time did he suggest an alternative seating or area to do this paperwork.
I suggested to hi that they needd to acommodate senior citizens or people with disabilities at work areas to do paperwork and delivery arrangement and to ditch the bar stools. He said it has been mentioned to management but it "falls on deaf ears"
A day later, my friend received a text message asking her to complete a satisfaction survey of her experience at Teppermans. She ignored the text. Shortly after she received another text message asking her to do the survey. Again, she chose not to comply. YET AGAIN, she received a THIRD request by text which now was really annoying. Again she ignored it as she did not want to do the survey.
THEN, the salesman who served us had the audacity to phone her and ask why she was not completing the survey !!! By this time my friend felt in intimidated and harassed and told him that she did not appreciate being treated in such a manner and it was her choice to decide whether to partake in the survey.
I, on hearing this personnaly went to Teppermans to lodge a complaint wit the manager on how my friend felt intimated by his phone call and pressured into doing something she did not want to do.
The manager, was understanding and confirmed that at NO time was the issue of bar stools ever brought up in staff meetings by this salesman.
She did phone my friend to apologize for the way she was treated and that the salesman would be spoken to.
Teppermans has lost our business in future.
We had our furniture delivered today, and both delivery drives we very nice and made sure I was completely satisfied with everything before they left. Yes I was. Great job.
Services are pathetic. I ordered a bed in August 2023 it was out of stock and told me that i will get in 2 months. After 2.5 months got a call that bed has arrived but they delivered part of bed and after one month still waiting for remaining parts of the bed. Its really bad . So its being 4 months still not get ful fledged bed.
Purchased from Tepperman's and had a great experience overall. The one thing I want to point out if the delivery times were quite long. Too Long. It was recommended I use laborhutt if i wanted to get my couch the same day, and that was a game changer. The customer experience was also great.
I purchased fridge 3 weeks ago and three times was wrong size then second was fridge was badly damaged and third time they send wrong model . No more buying from this store !!!!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I notice that companies like to ask you for a review before the merchandise has even been delivered this is why i dont!
I ordered a couch power on sale nice good price but when i get it and start sitting on it there is a really bad smell from what i dont know but if i weere to try and describe it smelled like dirty stink socks eww!
i have sprayed it with fabreeze at east 4 times now and it might be starting to dissipate finally ill give it another couple of days
i did raise my concern with their main site but of course not a single reply or awknowledgement its almost like they dont care
so to say the leaset i am pissed with this company they should have at least tried to compensate me in some way for the cost and anguish i had to deal with regarding a big stinky couch they sent me shame on them
Purchased sofa(Brentwood) zipper comes apart and guess what it’s not covered.11/2 year old. Zucorahome warranty worthless.

I recently purchased a new tv from Tepperman’s in London ON. I brought the tv home, turned it on to this screen ( pic 1) When the power is off there is no indication the screen is broken, it is a perfectly black flawless glass( pic 2).
I contacted Tepperman’s about getting a replacement and was informed it had to go through a review process before it could be replaced. As this seemed to me a very straight forward return, I was quite surprised by this. I was told to send in pics of the tv from all angles and the sides of the box. I quickly replied with the required pics and waited for a response. After calling daily for 5 days, I was finally told my tv wouid not be replaced as Tepperman’s Customer Care (manager Krista), determined the fractured internal LCD screen was caused by impact created by me. I inquired how I could break an internal screen without fracturing the external screen. Of course, there was no response to this very logical question.
My next step was to speak directly to the store manager at Tepperman’s. On Friday July 28, Amar was the manager on duty. After speaking to him briefly and realizing I was going to get the same response I informed him I was recording our conversation. He would no longer speak to me and hung up.
Since that conversation, I have gone into the store to speak with the manager Joshua Millar. As of the date of todays post I am still in possession of a broken tv, with no resolution in site.
Like all of us, I work hard for my money. I spend 12 hours a day as a nurse taking care of others and at the end of my day I come home and like to decompress for a few hours, before heading to bed to start again the next day. I am outraged that instead of being allowed that downtime to relax, I am fighting with a family owned business to replace a tv.
This is their written promise:
“Tepperman’s is committed to ensuring you have a positive shopping experience and enjoy your new purchase. With our satisfaction guarantee, you can be confident the new products you purchase are in great condition.• We will repair or exchange products with concealed damage on merchandise picked up”
Do not be fooled, they do not stand behind this promise. It is all words to make consumers feel at ease, to spend their hard-earned money and never worry that if they buy a damaged product they will be stuck with it. I am writing this to warn anyone thinking of buying from Tepperman’s in London Ontario, think twice before buying from here.

UPDATE: Tepperman's response below so far is just words with no substance. I am still waiting for a response and despite multiple requests and promises to "keep me updated", no one has ever reached out. Shameful.
I purchased 2 leather recliners for ~$5000 in June 2023. We were told the batteries would last "200-250" cycles, which is the equivalent of ~2 months. The batteries are only lasting 2 days before they need recharging. We brought this to Tepperman's attention immediately via Jessica Labadie, and received confirmation the batteries should last 200-250 cycles from the manufacturer. I have not heard back from anyone since despite a half dozen emails asking for a status. Customer Support is non-existent and I will do my best to share this experience with a broader community.

***Please read their response lol, no resolution was had by me. ***Purchased the Decelle Putty Sectional and Ottoman along with the complete delivery and setup fees, and the Select 'Warranty' for $200 from Teppermans in late 2022 and within about 3 months, the seams sagged, the fabric wrinkled and the sectional looked/looks like its 20 years old. I had purchased the 'warranty' but of course that issue isn't covered. After numerous contacts with Teppermans and having someone visit my home to see what I was talking about, they determined it was 'fine'.... according to them. They deducted a couple hundred bucks and sent me a new pillow insert - but its not the pillow, its the fabric. The seams sag below where its supposed to by almost 2 inces! The sectional is terrible, looks cheap and I am so disappointed. Teppermans advertises 'satisfaction guaranteed'... but not in my opinion. Too bad because the sectional I had purchased years before from them was and still is in tip top condition (not Decelle) as my sister took it. I no longer can see the Decelle on their website. Not a good purchase, not a good experience. I feel sick having to pay that much for crap furniture.

Will never shop at Teppermans again. Purchased a couch and within months the fabric started to ball. When I contacted customer service the girl displayed no customer service skills, was rude and in the end told me to purchase a clothes shaver to remove the fuzz balls forming on my new couch. Thanks, Tepperman

We bought a couch and loveseat in Oct 2021. When it was delivered, it arrived with damage on it, and they damaged our hardwood floors during the delivery. After over a year of waiting for parts. They arrived and were the wrong parts. Three months later they replaced our couch. The second couch arrived damaged. Another couple of months before it was repaired. They said repeatedly said they would pay us for the damage on the floor. Almost two years later we have yet to see any money arrive. Even after they said the sent a cheque. Stay away from these clowns. Nothing but lies and delays.

Guess biggest issue is product they sell, Samsung stainless fridge rusted after 1 year 5 months, stainless , basically shiny steel magnets stick like glue, bought extended warranty, doesn’t cover wait for it rRUST
Stainless rusting BS magnet sticking on it poor nickel content
Extended warranty only on mechanical
May I say Teppermans gives zero support on this, no explanation on the warrranty as far as stainless goes
Yup do your research before buying from them or buying any Samsung product
Our Samsung fridge failed within first 3 days , had to be repaired
Ice makers are garbage and fail pretty regular
