Well researched and extensive class…

Well researched and extensive class materials; inspiring and informative speakers; fantastic learning cohort covering different areas of expertise and locations which gave the fellowship a truly global reach. If I could make one suggestion it would be to try to focus the cohort energy earlier into one or two meaningful group projects vs 4 very different assignments. I am glad I signed up and found it helpful in my climate journey.

Transformative climate education - met the best people!!

Terra.do was an amazing experience! The course content is thoughtfully structured and sequenced. I was pleasantly surprised by how much foundation we built in the first half to support our understanding of systems-based solutions with an emphasis on climate justice. My knowledge of climate is much deeper now and I feel equipped to engage in productive discussions with others. The course instructors also set the cohort up for success by creating a respectful and engaging environment to challenge, discuss, ideate, and generally express the range of emotions that come with learning about climate. Finally, my cohort of fellows was fantastic! Many of us ended up meeting in-person and plan to continue to stay connected post-Terra! I wish I could do it again and I'm thankful that I have this amazing network to learn from in the future!

Provided a broad wealth of knowledge

This course provided a broad wealth of knowledge of climate change issues and status across industry sectors, plus cross-sector aspects such as systems thinking, economics and policy. The parallel focus on finding your 'north star' was incredibly helpful and the interactive lab sessions provided insightful local and global views. I found it complemented my uni course incredibly well and would highly recommend!

Good course to inspire enthusiasm

The content was presented in a way that was both easily accessible and yet relatively thorough. Given my existing training in the earth sciences and policy I was inspired to take this course more for the networking benefits than for learning more about climate science and policy. I look forward to remaining connected to this community in the future.

An MBA in climate change and solutions.

The deep knowledge taught throughout the course is immensely helpful in understanding the topics (broadly) but also points you in the right direction to go even deeper if needed.

The community is especially noteworthy. People are highly engaged in the Slack channels, and the students in my cohort are constantly participating and engaging with one another.

Mission Aligned and True to Their Values

Everyone who works for Terra.do truly believes in their mission to educate people on climate issues and solutions, while importantly focusing on social justice and equity as well. They very much achieved their goal of creating a system's lens and perpetuating that mentality. The community, education, and support is outstanding.

Terra LFA - Gonzalo

Ss the name says, Learning for Action is a great program to not only learn about Climate Change situation but jump to action in anyway. The course is amazingly curated and the context around the theory (community, resources, job boards, inpiring guest talks) push you to the action.

Great experience, compatible for working professionals

I highly recommend Terra.Do Learning For Action. Through the 12-week program I received an accelerated, structured, and well-rounded view of climate change. I was able to take my classes at night while working full time and I appreciated the ability to do optional deep dives to learn even more on certain topics.

Education, connection, & inspiration

Terra.do's Climate Change LFA course was so much more than I expected. The course content was incredibly thorough and thoughtful with lots of optional material to go deeper. After the course I feel confident in not only the science of climate change but also feel I have a map of the many solution areas and an individual plan for action to engage. I'd also say that, for me at least, the secret sauce of the course is the intentional way that the course is structured to foster community and connection with the global group of fellows. It's something I haven't experienced in an online course before and it not only brought the material to life but has engaged me with a community ready to take action. With that in mind I'll also note that the latter part of the course which focuses on solution areas was incredibly inspiring. I'm not sure I really grasped the breadth or depth of the climate movement and how much has already been accomplished and how much is going on now. The challenge ahead is huge but so are the talent and commitment of people hard at work coming up with solutions. I am incredibly grateful to the terra.do team and for the opportunity to take this course.
