Don't waste your time, not a single test in months with full profile. Low pay
They don’t send you any money for taxes or shipping. Then they take forever to get back to you when you bring this to their attention. They don’t pay you the bonuses offered on the products. They don’t have a wide range of products to try either.
Everything was OK, legit payout but the reviews here are fake (50000$, 300000$, all are fake). It is super super hard and super long time like years to make them but they only paid monthly how can they get so much in 1 month, so I'm lowering the main score.
SCAM. first of all.every excellent review is not even about the website.the only real review here are the bad ones. whoever is running this website will not be able to do so for any longer
I have worked on the platform for quite sometime and i can confirm that everything is legit and works fine . All you have to do to succeed , is follow the rules and instruction given . Do not be disturbed by what other reviewers commented , all that happened is that they failed to compile by the rules or they wanted everything to be easy for them. ohh! and the payments , the company pays , that is confirmed.
I'm a newbie so I'm not even sure about anything yet, much less know anything about bugs or bug reports. I was still on the onboarding test, and learning the basics.
Then a TL commented on my bug, and I was told to edit the mistakes except for the product feature (which I was supposed to correct in the comment section). So after I edited my bug report and took another screencast, the TL told me it is not even a bug. I just felt I wasted my time doing the edits.
The TL also said I was wrong about product feature. I said it was PRODUCT DETAIL because I had to click the product - which opened in a pop up window to show the product in various colors. I was told it was PRODUCT OVERVIEW. Logically, it would be product detail, but who is a newbie to argue? Besides, no bug disputes are allowed.
I found their site fascinating because I like learning about bugs, and they have videos and tutorials. I learned a lot. Now, that they have said "good riddance" to me, I am exploring other sites. I find these other sites even more fascinating, more helpful in equipping testers, and more importantly, they seem to have more patience and they know how to communicate.
As Green Day's song "Good Riddance" says: "So make the best of this test and don't ask why. It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time."
I reported a bug, that was a functional one. They rejected, later on, they fixed it on the website.
I thought it was a nice opportunity to start here for some extra cash because I am also working as a tester in a medical software company (they are great). But after only two weeks I could not bear the unprofessional behavior of the team leaders. As other people mentioned before they reject your bugs for weird reasons. They want you to change everything so it can "fit in their guidelines" even though most of the things they want you to do are not described in the guidelines. After various comments they finally say that the bug is not a bug. Lol thank you for wasting my time changing every detail just to hear it would never be accepted. And the payout? Really? Who is working for 1 hour and is maybe (!) getting 2 or 4€? Just a scam.
This is not really a place where you could earn money. About 80-85% of all the bugs I've found has been rejected due to various reasons. Even if you got lucky and your bug was accepted by test.io team leader, it still has a high chance to be rejected by customer. Around one third of all bugs I reported were rejected by customers due to ridiculous reasons like "this is a legit bug but we don't wanna fix it, so it won't be accepted". After this, test.io seems to be more like scam, honestly.
So don't waste your time and find any other crowdtesting platform.
Waste of time, TTL-s are just unfair people, they just reject the bug report for nonsense reasons, does not give enough information in the testing scope and at the end, you get rejected for nonsense reasons, additionally, their dispute does not work as well, only gives the decision in favor of the customer. No notification system to see the result of the test cycles, you need to check all junk emails for seeing the result of the tests cycles
Waste of time.
The Good:
* Clean and simple web interface.
The Bad:
* You will put considerable time and effort and in the end you will not get paid.
* Team leads are jerks and unprofessional.
* Payment system is buggy or they really?
The UGLY:
* Did I mentioned you will not get paid for all your time wasted?
* You are better of doing surveys - at least you will get paid.

If you love yourself - just don't even sign-up. People who endorses this company are thieves themselves.
I was tasked by a company that is in need of a professional testing company. So in my search, I signed up with TEST.IO for evaluation.
Was with them for a couple of months and it was a horrible experience.
I submitted some bugs and one of the guys says they will not be accepted due to (a terminology he used which I forgot already). Then I asked him I don't see it in their guidelines/knowledge base - they just mentioned not yet but will be soon. And never seen it still until I left. It is like they will give out any excuse just to not credit you for the bugs you find.
Plus, their payment system is so buggy. I tried to cash in whatever credit I have but couldn't cash the other half. I filed a complaint - and they said it is a problem they will fix and to compensate will credit me some extra payments. And those extra payments I am unable to cash out even after a couple of months. Again - they once find excuses not to pay you.
Good thing I only signed up to evaluate them. Too bad for them, I gave them a failing grade to the company that hired me as a consultant and I recommended a much better, more professional testing company.
They skimped to pay me a couple of Euros, but they lost a potential hundred-thousand dollar contract.
I'm working at testCloud about a year as a software tester.
It was my first experience in QA, before I've found full time job (and I say "Thank you testCloud for that!").
It is a great opportunity to work, when you have a free time. If you work good, you will often get good projects.
It is the best crowdsource testing company for European customers and testers.
Register and make sure yourself. ;)
As a tester, I can say that it is a very trustworthy website. Everything I earned was payed out timely and this is significant. So I'm totally confident and satisfied!
The guys at testcloud really know their stuff! Thanks to them we were able to launch our app on time and without bugs!
