I am really enjoying the 100 Day Thai Language Challenge. With the classes online, it is very convenient and I can learn at my own pace - I find it really useful to keep rewinding the video to make sure I understand everything! Kru Fah is excellent and teaches concepts in small, manageable bites, with lots of practice with sentence construction. I have always been very unsuccessful learning languages, but this programme is keeping me engaged, making me more confident and I'm now speaking a little Thai with my friends and when out shopping.

I just finished Day 60 of the Thai Language Challenge and I’m genuinely surprised at how much I’ve learned. I never thought I’d make this much progress, especially living in Thailand where I needed real, practical Thai. Kru Fah is an amazing teacher—fun, clear, and super encouraging. This course has boosted my confidence in everyday conversations. Highly recommend it to anyone serious about learning Thai!

I have just completed thalanguagechallenge.com 100-live (recorded) lessons, which have improved my practical use of the Thai language from roughly A+ to B- level; a rather significant improvement! Here my long but sincere review: This is an inter-active online class course, lots of fun, lots of examples and illustrations, very well-structured, and using everyday modern language. Every 10 lessons have a repeat class - with test to check that you are «hanging on.» (If not you can use all the time you need for repetition(s) as you decide when to proceed. Kru Fah and the 4 classmates (you are the 5th, sitting on the sideline with possibilities to interact via WhatsApp) are very inspiring. The whole classroom set-up is very professional, you really have a feeling of being there! Absolutely super for self-learning at your own pace. I could use WhatsApp to pose questions anytime throughout the course, and got quick and good explanations back. My conclusion: Very helpful towards acquiring a functional Thai language at a basic+ level. Congrats and thank you to Kru Fah for this course!

I have completed about 14 lessons so far and have improved my thai a lot in a short amount of time. The lessons are well structured and enjoyable. I have not been able to complete a lesson a day due to other commitments so working through at my own pace has been good. Great to be able to revise on the old lessons too.

I’ve tried a lot of language apps and courses, but Thai Language Challenge stands out by a mile. The daily lessons are short, practical, and build on each other in a way that actually sticks. I went from barely being able to say hello to holding casual conversations with my Thai friend—all in just a few weeks! The tone markers and phonetics made pronunciation so much easier. Highly recommend this to anyone who’s serious about finally learning Thai.

Kru Fah is an excellent teacher! She teaches with humor and is well organized. Instead of a lot of time on grammer, she teaches what you need to know for real life situations. Each student gets a support teacher to report to and get feedback for their homework.

Kru Fah has that magic touch to make things stick and keep me engaged. There is no substitute for a good teacher. The curriculum is smartly rolled out and the language taught is practical and real world dialogue. This program deserves a sixth star ⭐️.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 100 days of the Thai Language Challenge. Kruu Fah is an engaging and patient teacher, who is obviously experienced in teaching Thai to native English speakers. The format, as a classroom with other students, was useful as they would often ask the questions that I was thinking.

I will give one caveat however -- if you wish to do the 100 lessons in 100 days (5d/week x 20 weeks) as I did, be prepared for the fact that it can be a lot of work, as much as 3 hours a day for a serious student. However, there's no reason not to do the lessons at a more relaxed pace, if you wish. This course covers a significant amount of material and vocabulary.

Thai is not an easy language to learn for the native English speaker. TLC does not cover reading and writing Thai, another challenge for a westerner. But I feel like I have a strong foundation to continue learning Thai on my own, which is ultimately how one acquires a foreign language.

I highly recommend this course for the person that wants to learn Thai, but feels lost and needs help getting started.

I have done more than 10 days of the 100 day challenge. The lessons are well planned and the quality of course delivery has exceeded expectations. Totally enjoying my Thai learning journey!

Kru Fah is a great teacher and you can watch and re-watch the classes and try to participate on your own in real time and then send homework in writing and voice chat and she looks everything over and gives feedback so you can improve! i found out about the course thru chris & adam on youtube who i watched for other content related to thailand life and it was a lot of fun learning with them and the other students online.

There are lots of types of activities to keep you on your toes, and the pace is challenging and that is very motivating! i can't wait to go to thailand and try out what i've learned and be able to communicate more with people and to follow what they're saying. that will make this all worth it!

the first 20 days is survival thai and really covers a lot of ground, but if you do the 100 day course it's roughly 20 weeks worth of daily lessons which is a real deal course jam packed with information and practice! well worth the cost, no question!

I have tried multiple ways of trying to learn Thai and Kru Fah and the Thai language challenge is the best! She makes everyday fun to learn, always responds to any questions and makes learning Thai fun and easy.

I believe the Thai Language Challenge is the best way to learn the Thai language. Like many I have tried learning through social media such as You Tube and other channels but having Kru Fah and her approach as an interactive teacher makes all the difference. Her style and personality make it fun and her knowledge helps you learn faster. Having the ability to ask questions is elevating the learning process. The daily communications are a huge help. Kru Fah is an excellent teacher. She teaches clearly and with a sense of humor.
This makes the online classes feel like you are in a real interactive classroom.
You do homework, or ask questions, in Whatsapp. Fah always reponds quickly.
I have never learned a new language after high school, but to my surprise I find it relatively easy to pick it up in this course.

Half way through the 100 day challenge right now and I must say it is an awesome experience. The virtual classroom is a fun way to gather knowledge and makes you feel as if you are actually attending a classroom.

You will start slow and easy but as the lessons progress, be prepared to put in the effort. It's not like the usual suspect courses where you have to listen and repeat the curriculum. You will actually have to do homework and talk to real Thai teachers. Create sentences and answer questions. The teacher will correct and guide you into becoming familiar with the Thai language and its tonal and grammar challenges.

For me it is good to be forced into attending a lesson daily from Monday through Friday. 1 hour lesson and an additional 30 minutes to review and do homework. During the weekend I practice the vocabulary using the additionally provided flash cards.

I am currently on day 13 and I am learning so much. I have been to Thailand a few times but only had the basic “hello” and “thank you”, I now have understanding of sentence structure, a vocabulary of over 100 hundred useful words and know all my numbers, which will be a huge bonus in places like markets!

The classroom environment is very enjoyable and reassuring, as you are working at the same pace as the other four people who are physically in the room. The lessons are fun, engaging and informative with lots of laughs. Kruu Fah, the teacher, is really good at explaining everything in an easy way and does not take things too quickly or seriously. She keeps going over the material until all the four students have grasped it, by which time I have also.

The use of the phonetic alphabet is also really helpful, as learning the Thai script is a big challenge in itself whereas using phonetics you can concentrate on learning to understand and speak Thai without the necessity to learn the script. Learning Thai script might be a challenge I take up another time.

The app to review each lesson’s course material using flash cards and quizzes is also very effective. I can use the app any time I have a few minutes spare to help cement what I have learned during the lesson.

Kruu Fah also sets homework for each lesson that you submit for her to check and provide feedback. This is amazing as it is absolutely one on one teaching. Kruu Fah is also available to answer any individual questions you have, either direct or via a group chat of current and former students.

It is also great that you get a new lesson daily, 5 days a week, which helps structure my learning. However, you don’t have to do each lesson when it arrives, you can work at your own pace, so if you are busy you can skip some days and just work at the next lesson when convenient. This also means it doesn’t matter what time zone you are learning in.

The course materials are also excellent, I paid a local company to have mine printed and bound, as recommended, and I agree this really helps. When it comes to me doing a lesson, I go to a quiet place, remove all distractions and sit down with my course booklet, pencil and laptop to work through the lesson. It does feel like I am actually part of the group. Each lesson is an hour long but, as they are all online, you can take them at your own pace and pause, go back etc. if you want to take time to think about something or watch again.

I will shortly be arriving for a vacation in Thailand and can’t wait to practice what I have learned. I am sure I will have more confidence trying to speak some Thai and also understanding some of what people say, especially in common situations such as getting a taxi or ordering food from street stalls etc.

I am very pleased I chose to learn Thai this way and am looking forward to the next 7 lessons in the 20 lesson package I purchased. I fully expect I will purchase the extra 80 days to complete the course.

This is a fantastic way to learn Thai. It’s good fun, entertaining and varied. Videos workbook and homework. This makes it engaging and because there is a new lesson each day it makes it intense but you progress quickly. Highly recommended!
