Horrendous quality

I ordered 5 blouses. Their website makes it look they're made out of cotton material. I don't even know what the material is--there are absolutely no tags inside the clothes. One reviewer guessed 'plastic' and I believe it. I've never seen garments of such low quality. The print images on the blouses are even fuzzy. I spent over $200 and am mortified that it was such a ripoff and scam.

BEWARE. This"store" is a complete and total…

This "store" is a complete and total scam. Stay away. There is no store in NYC. There is no elderly couple. There is no last day sale. There is cheap clothing with the most polyester sheen imaginable. The actual items look NOTHING like the items online (which look like linen). Your item will arrive from China and take over a month to get to you. And returns?!? First, they will not respond. If you persist they will try to convince you to not return the item, then once they finally give you the return address in China you will discover when you try to ship the item back that the duties on returning itm are well over $100.
My bad for getting sucked in by the realistic instagram ad.

Do not order from this site!!

Do not order from this site!!! It is a scam.

Sizing is way off and they don't honor the return policy, rather offer 10% of the purchase price to avoid the return process of shipping to China (at my cost).

I received my 3 tops that I paid…

I received my 3 tops that I paid $168.00 for. They are horrible. Not at all what I expected. They are plastic fabric and have a design printed on them. They are not worth even close to what I expected to receive. In the website it says to email them to get a shipping label and get money back. I have now emailed them 5 times with no response. Shame on me....

I purchased a dress and a blouse

I purchased a dress and a blouse, total 125, it took forever to arrive and both items were too large and of very poor quality, I can’t believe I didn’t read the reviews before purchasing, as stated in other reviews it was very difficult to return and I would have to pay the shipping back to China! I an NEVER buying anything again that I see on Facebook, what a rip off!!!

The Fifth Season is a scam site

This is a scam site. I should have followed up on my suspicions and checked for reviews before placing an order.
• Website photo of top shows linen fabric and what arrives is item made of gross, shiny polyester. (They know they will be called out on this. If you check the small print at bottom of the website returns page it even says that the photos don't represent the actual fabric and that getting unexpected fabric is not an accepted reason for return.)
• But that doesn't really matter, because you can't return without paying more than you paid to buy the item. Customer must pay to ship back to China ("Asia") and all duties. They also recommend paying for tracking. If your return doesn't arrive in 60 days you won't get a refund. So to make a return you'll pay double for a wholly garbage garment.

I hope others read this before ordering from The Fifth Season -- unless they really want garments that are cheap polyester poorly printed in garish colors that run huge in sizing.

The store is a complete scam

The store is a complete scam. Notice that there is no sizing info, there is no info about the fabric, and the origin of the shipment is not disclosed. I waited 16 days for the shipment of two items to arrive. They are cheap polyester and nowhere near the colors described. The quality is what you might find in the $5 rack at Goodwill.

This company is a complete scam

This company is a complete scam. There is no Fifth Season store and there is no Jim and Claire who have owned it forever. I ordered three tunic shirts that look like linen in the picture. After 15 days they show up and they are made of shiny polyester - hideous. I e mailed the customer service stating my dissatisfaction. They offered 10% refund without returning because you would need to send the items back to China and postage is not covered. Finally, after some back and forth, they offered me a 30% refund without returning. So I lost $127. STAY AWAY!!! The quality of the clothing looks nothing like the pictures - must have photo shopped the shine out of the polyester.
