Absolutely faultless experience.
Tastefully executed refurbishment has resulted in a warm, cosy and classy environment.
Staff are friendly and efficient while the food is wonderful. The soufflé starter is perfect and the steak pie is delicious.
Nothing to criticise from us. We will be back.
What’s not to Love about the GT. Friday was our second visit for a birthday treat. Food was delicious - so tasty and both soufflé’s are a dream. I would not normally choose a soufflé for dessert but so glad I did. Staff are fabulous - no complaints whatsoever! Looking forward to seeing what they will do for a Christmas Menu.
Firstly the refurbishment is good and the staff are very pleasant.
The food is very average and too costly. The worst coffee I have ever tasted. The wooden chairs have no cushions and are not comfortable.
Unpleasant experience.
12% service added is wrong. You should have an option.
As a local we shall not be returning.
This is a lovely pub/restaurant with gorgeous rooms should you want to stay.
The refurb has been done to a high standard and is in keeping with the building. A lovely feel to the bar area and the restaurant is perfect.
Food is excellent and the service is very impressive.
Will be heading back there very soon.
Been here a few times before, fantastic reputation, very much looking forward to seeing The Gt reopen after its refurbishment. Glad to hear the Terrace is being put to good use.
