Load Bros Movers kept me updated…
Load Bros Movers kept me updated throughout the entire process and made everything feel organized and smooth. They arrived exactly when they said they would and finished right on schedule. Very reliable team — 10/10 service!
I had an absolutely terrible experience…
I had an absolutely terrible experience with 3 Brothers Moving and Storage. They misrepresented themselves from the beginning, claiming they were a moving company when in fact they are brokers. This critical detail was hidden from me until it was too late.
Communication was nearly impossible once they had my belongings. I voiced multiple concerns throughout the process, but they refused to respond or take accountability. To make matters worse, they tried to upcharge me by $2,000 just to release my items—an outrageous bait-and-switch tactic.
They also lied about the cubic footage of my items to inflate the price and became aggressive when I questioned them. At one point, I was yelled at for simply asking for clarification. The entire process was stressful, dishonest, and unprofessional from start to finish.
I have filed formal complaints with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) because consumers need to be protected from companies like this.
Avoid 3 Brothers Moving and Storage at all costs. They will take advantage of you, lie to you, and leave you feeling helpless. No one should have to go through what I did
Bait and Switch & Illegal Practices
They are BROKERS and not the actual Moving company. We hired 3 Brothers Moving & Storage to transport TWO shipments; BOTH had different moving companies and they both did the same SCAM.
1) For the New York to Vegas move, we were charged for 700 cf. The actual was 300cf which we thought was the amount we had but they assured us it was 750 cf. but they gave us a “deal of 700” adding $2000 to our order. Upon unpacking in Las Vegas by the truck's packing lines in the van, it was clear we were exactly at 300 cf.
2) The same issue would have occurred from Vegas to New York, but there was no disputing the size. We were shipping exact-sized bins, which equaled exactly 236.36 cf. They insisted it was much larger than 300 cf and noted that the price we paid, even if it was 300 cf, was too low, and they wouldn’t take it.
We could not get in touch with 3 Brothers to remedy while the drivers were onsite. After providing all the evidence they did not admit any wrongdoing and would not provide a refund WITHOUT posting anything negative about our experience and not even a full refund.
Legal Claims:
1. Breach of Contract: 3 Brothers breached the contract by failing to perform the agreed-upon transport services without lawful justification.
2. Fraudulent Misrepresentation/Bait and Switch: The demand for additional payment based on a false assertion of exceeding the agreed-upon cubic footage constitutes a fraudulent misrepresentation and a "bait and switch" tactic.
3. Overcharging: Overcharging is considered an unfair or deceptive trade practice and is regulated by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
4. Violation of Consumer Review Fairness Act: Any attempt to condition a refund or settlement on a non-disclosure agreement or restriction of our right to provide honest reviews is a violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act.
Undisputable Evidence:
1. Photographs: An image of the bins clearly demonstrates that the shipment does not exceed 300 cubic feet, and photographs of the NY->Vegas shipment in the van with the cf markers clearly showing that ONLY 300 cf was used.
2. Communication Records: Screenshots of calls and text messages documenting our attempts to contact "3 Brothers."
3. Comparative Shipping Rates: Documentation of our FedEx shipping for the same shipment. Note: invoices are available 30 days after shipment.
4. Video Evidence: Video footage from our Nest camera system capturing the entire interaction, including the driver's statements, the supervisor's instructions, and our communication attempts. Also video footage of NY-Vegas uploading of all the equipment.
5. Email Evidence: Customer support from 3 Brothers requesting that if we get a refund that we are not supposed to post anything bad about our experience.
The most unethical moving company we…
The most unethical moving company we have ever used and we've moved quite a few times, including COVID-19. They lied to us about the entire process process and that they ARE an actual moving broker. Once we realized what was going on, it was too late and they had our personal belongings hostage. Only to be delayed multiple times, countless items broken and additional money that needed to be paid or they wouldn't deliver. All of this with an 18-month old and two dogs. We had to change flights and our move-in date because they kept our belongings 10 days vs. 1 one day. We learned a lot through this experience but NEVER use this so-called company. They should honestly go to jail for what they put us through!
Our experience with this company has…
Our experience with this company has been terrible for a number of reasons. First and foremost is the fact that the carrier they subcontracted with to move our possessions (since they are a broker, not the actual carrier) grossly overcharged us, and 3 Brothers has shown little interest in intervening. The original estimate from 3 Brothers to move the contents of our 2 bedroom apartment and 16' PODS container from California to Kentucky was $9,844.00, which significantly undercut their competitors, so we went with them. On the day of the move, the foreman went over everything we owned, and we discussed the PODS, and he and his crew proceeded to take all the items out of our apartment. He had every opportunity to tell us the cost would be higher... by $12,000.00! for a total of 22,000.000. He did not inform us of this adjustment until almost the entire apartment had been emptied. We had already paid the 4,000.00 deposit and had to leave that day, so we were over a barrel and had no other choice but to continue. We later found out that they actually shipped our possessions across country with those of multiple families, which makes the price they charged completely unjustified. American Van Lines, for example, would have charged 25,000.00 for a van dedicated completely to just our items. I tried calling 3 Brothers, and I was told they would call back the next day after getting the paperwork, and they never returned my call. A week later and I still have not been able to speak to any supervisor. I consider this transaction to be legitimately a scam; granted that it was their carrier, they nevertheless should show some concern that their customers have been treated in this fashion.
Furthermore, the movers seriously scratched the wood floor of the apartment we had been renting, jeopardizing our security deposit, and not only are the carriers showing no interest in the problem, but 3 Brothers claims it is not responsible since they are only the moving broker.
Finally, we cannot get a clear answer from the carrier as to when our possessions will arrive--one person said today, a week later, that our items had not yet left California, and five minutes later another person said the truck was already in Kansas. 3 Brothers also shows no interest in obtaining clear information from their subcontracted company.
So the point of all this is, 3 Brothers is not doing much to ensure the companies they work with do not engage in scams and inferior work.
Should be investigated for fraud
This is there’s company & customer service I’ve ever dealt with , they lie , they give false low estimates, take zero responsibility, virtually no customer service through the whole moving process. Our estimate was $2,250 suddenly prior to delivery went to $3,400 , not to mention false delivery dates given , was a 360 mile trip , took more than a week . Save yourself a headache and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY, !!!!!! PLEASE
I picked one star cause I can't go…
I picked one star cause I can't go…
I picked one star cause I can't go less. We got a quote and a four hour window on the last day of the month. We had to be out that day, our Move was 3 miles.
Well one guy showed up and said we have a problem. Now it is 3:15 the quote was $1700 for a two bedroom apt. Well it took us one and a half to two hours to get a manager on the phone. Well the manager said it would cost $3800. My wife was at the pick up house dealing with this. the driver was down right mean to her and the manager was no better the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. So I agreed to the $3800 having no choice because they have you over a barrel. Gets better now they cant do the move because there is only one guy and he is over his hours for the day. Now he wants to come the next day at 6 am so I said fine. again not having any choice. so that evening my wife was concerned about them putting the beds in the second floor bedroom. so we called him at 8 to make sure, and he told us anything over 8 steps is $75 each item. so at this point I told him to sleep in we don't need him. So he says to me I lose my deposit. $750. I ended up getting another company to do the move they were so professional Charged us by the hour and wrapped everything. final bill $980 and $400 tip. Do all the math these guys are Crokes.

I would NEVER use 3 Brothers ever again!!
I would NEVER ever use 3 Brothers again. We paid the broker and after signing the contract noone would answer my calls, voice mails or emails. I was told they would walk us through the whole process and they did not do what they said. I needed a date and time when they were picking up the furniture and they waited until the last minute to let us know….when they got here to our house to deliver the furniture there was one guy that tried to bring all the furniture in all by himself…my husband had to help and the contract specifically said the $ we paid was for the delivery unpacking, putting legs back on the furniture and staging the furniture…well, the poor guy by himself needed my husband….UNBELIEVABLE that this company is still in business…they also charged more than what the contract stated when they showed up to pick up the furniture because the furniture was bigger than what they thought…$400 more than quoted and I refused to pay that so I talked them down to $200…
This is a horrible company. For your sake do not use them.
I would give them 0 stars if it would let me..
Pick someone else
I want to do business with companies who care about their customers and make an effort to make things right when things go wrong. Unfortunately my experience with 3 Brothers is that they neither take steps to make things go right by sending a professional to your house to accurately estimate the volume and using reputable actual movers rather than the low bidder.
Nor do they take steps to make things right when they broke and failed to bring back a significant quantity of the things they took out of my house. The arbiter they force you to use exists only to force 3Brothers to meet their minimal legal obligations and the fact that the won’t even do this on their own is really telling.
What a rip-off
What a rip-off, the salesman Christian did not list my items correctly on my
"estimate", and the movers tried to charge me double because of this. Then they refused to move many items, despite them being on my list, and I had to leave 2grand of items behind, which I could not afford nor could I afford to pay more than I did. What else are you supposed to do on the day you have to move out?! It's like they intentionally set you up to rip you off and put you in a bad position where you have no choice but to use them. I was told almost a month ago that a supervisor would reach out, and now I am still waiting for someone to respond, much less offer any resolution. I keep getting the run-around. This is extremely unprofessional and fraudulent. Now the movers are saying they can't guarantee delivery on the date we agreed to, and further putting me in a bad position. I haven't even seen my items yet, and have a bad feeling the property could be damaged too. This has been nothing but a nightmare, and I would never go through them again
Big thank you to Anthony moving team…
Big thank you to Anthony moving team for packing and delivering my electrical appliances safely. They also helped me install them at the new place and didn't even charge me for it. Cannot be more grateful!
Worst company ever
Worst company ever, showed up and immediately before stepping into the home they were already telling me "I will tell you how this goes"............ And right on queue they told me my estimate was not going to be accepted and they upped the price from $2,901 to $7,459 because they charge by the space on the truck. As a former Ops Manager for a moving company that is BS, local moves are by the hour not the space, not to mention he flat out lied when I asked ok what can you take for the estimate/quote and he pointed at a few things on the first floor. Showed up in a Ryder Rental truck and no uniforms, just run away.
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!!!!
I’ve used this company for two moves…
I’ve used this company for two moves now and they never disappoint. They recently helped me move my shop and it was stress-free. The team arrived on time and worked efficiently. They packed up all my inventory and supplies with care and organization. They used crates and bins to store my clothes, shoes, and accessories. They also used bubble wrap and tape to pack my jewelry, watches, and sunglasses. They even helped me move my large refrigeration units. They used a forklift and a pallet jack to move them safely and securely. They also padded and wrapped them to prevent any scratches or dents.
What a Nightmare
Communication helps to make a successful business. The name, Three Brothers Moving and Storage is misleading. They do neither moving nor storage. Without telling you, the client, they farm out your move to other moving companies. When you talk to their account specialist, they become your buddy. "You are retired military. I am too. We'll give you two months of free storage and then it will be $340 a month thereafter. What are we moving?" So, we tell him, furniture, boxes and totes and we will need some packing. "How much furniture, like what?" We tell him, to the best of our ability. We are't movers and we told him again, we needed help packing.
" That will be approximately $5400."
When Ryder Relocation movers came at 1:00pm. They asked what are we taking. They were shocked when we told them "everything". "Three Brothers told us this was just a pick up. They didn't tell us there would be packing. We didn't bring any supplies. We have to go get it." At 3pm they were packing. They were fantastic, amazing, terrific. At 2:15am the truck was loaded. We were handed the bill of lading, $9400. The worst part was yet to come. "We will give you one month of free storage after that it's $3,000 a month. We don't have the capability for long term storage."
In essence, Three Brothers doesn't communicate with their client nor the mover they selected. Knowing we were storing our household goods for several months, why would they delegate our move to a company who doesn't have the facilities? We can't get answers to our questions.
June 28th 2024–Three Brothers Moving and Storage. The saga continues and it's epic. Our furniture was picked up by Ryder Relocation on May 29th or 2:15 am on May 30th. The mover told us that Ryder Relocation didn't have the facilities to store our household goods for more than a month. If they stored it any longer it would be $3000 a month. That's a far cry from $340 per month quoted by Three Brothers. June 14th we called Three Brothers to tell them to deliver our household goods to our new storage unit. Every phone call thereafter, and there were many, many phone calls, their answer was, "we will call you." Ryder Relocation was the same. "We will call you." Then our question became, "do you know where our stuff is?". Ryder's answer, "We'll look into it and call you back." No phone calls. We explained that we are 6 hours away from our storage unit. We need 24 hours notice so we can be there. Between Three Brothers and Ryder Relocation, no one could tell us where our belongings were. June 21st, we received. a phone call. "Your household goods are loaded on the truck and could be there Friday (the same day as the phone call), Saturday or Sunday. it was too late for Friday. We rushed back to Winston Salem on Saturday. No truck. Sunday, no truck. Monday, no truck. We drove back six hours. Tuesday, we called Ryder and Three Brothers to let them know we were taking legal steps. Wednesday morning we received a call from Ryder at 8 am. "We can deliver between 10-12 today." Our response was, "We are six hours away.". We agreed on Thursday, June 27th, between 10 -12. We drove back down. We sat in the parking lot where our storage unit was located by 8:30. We didn't want to miss the just in case they were early. We received a phone call."They are running late and will be there around 1:30. Do you have the postal money orders for the balance? " Yes! Finally, the truck pulls up. It's not Ryder Relocation, but it is our stuff. The driver counts the number of footsteps from the truck to our storage unit. " It's more than 70 steps. It will be another $150." Next was the postal money orders. He told us where to sign. "You signed in the wrong place. I have to send a picture to my boss. He said to get new ones." We go to the closest Post Office who said they were fine. The conclusion: We got our household goods. We don't know who delivered our items because they were a contract carrier that Ryder Relocation hired. We don’t know the condition our household goods are in.
Moral of this nightmare is DON'T HIRE THREE BROTHERS MOVING AND STORAGE.
I would give them a zero if I could
I would give them a zero if I could. Moved me on a Sunday and said they needed a cashiers check or cash. They did not share this before and banks are closed on Sunday. Zelle would not cover the cost because once they arrived they almost doubled my original estimate. Very unprofessional and rude. Buyer beware. Do not use this company!
DONT USE! DISHONEST
DONT USE! 3 brothers lied about how charges work and then hired a careless company that damaged my goods and my house.
I think it's fantastic
I think it's fantastic. Our relocation was smooth because of their help. I highly recommend it!
I waited until I was calm to write this…
I waited until I was calm to write this review, it doesn't matter, I am still livid. I contacted 3 Brothers Moving Company, "where calls are recorded"...and I was blatantly lied to and given misinformation. They totally low ball you on the cubic feet once you give them your inventory, and this is standard practice by them according to the moving companies they broker with - and they make promises that they cannot deliver on such as setting up my TV's back on the wall. I spoke with a man named Christian who SWORE this was a service they could provide....He even typed it in on MY version of the contract and emailed it to me. I contacted 3 Brothers right after the movers called me to confirm and told me they could not and would not install the TV's and I spoke to Jessie a young lady who apologized profusely and offered a 200.00 credit back to my card which I have not received you. For my inventory I was quoted a price just shy of 2000.00(with TV installation). Obviously at this late in the game I have no choice. Once the movers arrived, they looked at my furnishings and said NO WAY I was going to be 407 cubic square feet. My order basically tripled on square footage as did my bill! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Intentional low ball and have people over a barell - they either have to take the offer or pay the high bill. I do not recomend them to anyone!
We'll be sure to contact them again for…
We'll be sure to contact them again for any future moves!
Worst experience ever
They charged $2000 more the day of pick up.The day of delivery, only the truck driver arrived. I paid in cask and the truck driver comeback later saying that I still owe him $300. The other two guys never came to help. The police come over and manage to settle the driver to get the stuff out of the truck. We had to help the driver moving the stuff, nomoney back. Worst moving experience
