Could be ok for children or beginners.

I initially had the same delivery issues that the other reviewers had - the trick is that you receive your first box but THEN you have to enter the code that's written inside the box to your account to receive your orders. It's a poorly explained system, but I am now receiving my orders.
My issue with the company is the simplicity of the bakes. The boxes might be a good gift for children or very beginner bakers.
However. I have had two biscuit boxes so far and each time the ingredients have been poorly measured, giving sloppy batter and needing extra flour adding (no I didn't add too much egg or milk or anything). So keep an eye out for that.

Have not received my order or any communication from company

Have not received my order. Sent email asking where my order is and it has been ignored, twice. I notice that this company is still advertising on Not on the High Street that it will deliver its product for free, in time for Christmas (by tomorrow even!). What it will do, in reality, is take your money, not send the product and ignore all email correspondence.

Never received the goods

Never received the goods. Very poor customer service, never responded to my emails. Four emails later, they got back to me when I said I was going to cancel my subscription. I was offered a phone call, which I agreed to, but never had one.

Avoid unless you like paying for goods that you don’t receive

Bought myself an ongoing bread subscription last Jan. Everything fine for the first 6 months. Then boxes just stopped. Money still taken from account. No response to email for ages. Claimed some money back via bank dispute functionality. Finally got a reply - apparently they had lost subscriber information when they transferred to a new website. However they were still able to send me marketing emails (Black Friday etc.) so did have access to my email address - I would assume that it you knew you had issues you would email your contacts and ask customers to come forward if they had stopped receiving boxes. They promised to refund me and send me a complimentary box - have not received refund or box from them. I asked them to cancel my rolling subscription but money was still taken. Now asking bank to stop payments. Stay well away from this company!

They take payment but don't deliver

Was given a three box subscription as a gift - second box was several weeks late, and third box was not delivered. No reply to multiple emails. Have now switched to Bakedin instead, which is much, much better.

Rubbish

Rubbish. Only first box arrived, and no response to complaint emails. Then they responded, asking for further details, and then stopped responding. Still missing 2 boxes and £35 lighter.

Awful communication & waste of money

Like many of the other reviews on this site - I was gifted a 3 month subscription for my birthday. First box arrived fine (so many grammatical errors in the instructions though - they haven't had anyone proof read that, felt very amateur and not what you expect when someone has bought you a gift), then I wasn't able to activate my subscription.

The company "activated the subscription on my behalf" however I've never received the final 2 boxes despite numerous emails back and forth.

Like someone else said - very clever of them not to have a phone number otherwise they would be inundated with calls. I gave them my phone number and asked them to call me, which they have not done.

Advice to anyone else thinking of buying or gifting from this company - DON'T DO IT!

Good idea not to have a phone contact number on their part...it would be inundated!!! BTW they still owe me £35

Terrible communication

Such a great idea but communication is awful. Received one box in January then nothing. Either don’t reply to my messages or reply over a week later. Very disappointed.

Very frustrating

I’d give this no stars if I could. A 3 month subscription was gifted to me which I thought was a great idea when I got the first box. However as other customers say there seems to be no way to get the remaining two boxes despite trying to follow the ‘activate now’ instructions and no reply to email queries. All the website does is ask for my credit card details which I am not giving. Just sending someone a recipe book, a bag of flour and a packet of yeast would be much less trouble!

Waste of time. Don’t delivery and don’t reply

Ordered treat box subscription in December for 3 months. Received first box in Dec. Didn’t receive second box, had to chase it up numerous emails, no reply. Finally got through and received second box in February. Haven’t received third and final box since then. Chased again through email….no reply. Don’t waste your time with this company, complete waste of time.

Sadly something is wrong at this company

Sadly, something is seriously wrong with this company. (NB the website is Bakerboxx.com I note that they have responded to one of the earlier good reviews)
My experience is as the most recent. Problems registering. No response to the email. I was sent an email when I had half finished an order asking if I wanted to complete. No phone number is provided.
Like others here, this was bought as a gift. I’m happy to change this review if I am subsequently contacted and there is a successful resolution.
Update: early April 2022 Emma Hines had been helpful in getting me registered. The system does not seem to help. I’m still awaiting my next package and will update this when it arrives…. (Posted 16 April 2022)

Appalling Customer Service

We have only received the first bread package, and unfortunately as other customers are reporting we are getting no response to our e-mails. This also was a gift for my husband. How can we get a refund?

Order not fulfilled!

This subscription was a birthday present from a dear friend but have tried to register the membership number on several occasions but comes back as invalid. Emailed baker boxx numerous times but no replies. Find it appalling that they have taken my friends money but not provided any explanation as to why they are not fulfilling the last 2 subscriptions - if you have gone “bust” let us know and refund our money.
