The ugly side of “The Beautiful Self”, a coaching program led by Anahita Joon Tehrani/Anahita Ahura + Update May 2026
I participated in “The Beautiful Self,” a one-year coaching program with Anahita Joon Tehrani in 2024/25. Despite giving multiple opportunities for my concerns to be addressed, my issues were repeatedly met with vague, spiritualized, or deflective responses, and follow-ups never materialized. A simple technical problem was reframed as a personal issue and responsibility put on me, rather than just being resolved.
Even when I eventually directly requested a refund, I did not receive a single response. I have kept detailed records of all communications with the coach.
Due to my experience, I cannot recommend Anahita Joon Tehrani’s coaching program, especially for women seeking to find their voice and develop leadership skills. The program may appear to run smoothly if you follow along without questioning, but raising concerns can result in being ignored or sidelined, as I experienced. I share this to provide an honest account and help others make informed decisions.
I only discovered prior negative public reviews later on the Better Business Bureau, all filed as “unanswered” or “unpursuable.” As one review there warned: “Be aware.”
UPDATE (May 2026): Following my initial review, the merchant posted a response that directly contradicted our written communication records. Meanwhile, she deleted that same reply from Trustpilot, the program website (beautifulself.com) is no longer active, and her professional name has changed to Anahita Ahura, which I found by coincidence. However, her main operating site, sheschool.com is still active. All contractually promised support ceased in Month 10 after I questioned her professional conduct, as stated in my review. I have easily verifiable documentation of our interactions, especially from month ten, which is not at all reflected in her now-deleted reply to my review. Prospective buyers should be aware that the core service promises made before purchase were not fulfilled, and I was left with no consumer recourse.
