Placed an order for a certain amount to get a complimentary gift. The gift was never sent. Would not have ordered that much if it wasn't for the free gift. Fraudulent business practice.
No explanation from them, no apology. Customer service does not answer emails AT ALL.
Not buying again online - will never get a reply to help resolve the issue.
Ordered on line for $75 worth products..never got my package delivered while I got email tracking my order claiming it had been delivered by Canpar ..probably stolen..as my name on the delivery note was poorly written. Brought this to Body Shop attention. They = AI= artificial Intelligence (!) Suggested to check with my neighbors = if they took my package(!) And assured me it'd be "escalated" to the department in charge of these situations (?)..also I visited their website w/o signing in and noticed a message addressed to me: very concerning as it had my recent bill with my full adress/part of my credit card #..Wooah!!!Canada Privacy law: Do you not respect this please Body Shop..Not sure if I want to continue with them..a nerve wracking and shocking experience to say the least... finally contacted my credit card company who open a " contestation"..and 'll freeze the amount I paid ..ouf 🥴
I've never had any issues with them. I really like their satsuma scented products.
I also like that they're against animal testing and that their products are fair trade and cruelty free.
Their activism for women's rights is also great!
They're working on using sustainable packaging, which is good.
I'd love it if they could get more scents for their body washes, though. Especially chocolate. And mint should be year-round.
They don't care about your privacy!
I had unsubscribed multiple times on their website and also reached out to their customer service 3 times, I was told by the customer service rep that my email has been removed from the list and their manager is aware of the situation. However, I am still receiving junk mail from this. This is against the Privacy Act and the Anti-Spam Law in Canada.
I reached out to them again on Jun 19 and still have not yet hear back from them!
