1. I paid for one "verified review" of my book in Amazon and two reader reviews on Goodreads on September 30, 2025 but never received it. Reviews were promised in 4-6 weeks but I received no notification regarding reviews by mid-December so I wrote to the company. "Dee" apologized and sent me a link the next day to a very nice 5-star rating and book review on their company website, but NO REVIEW was ever added to my book's page on Amazon... up to this very day.

2. Between the end of December and now, I reached out to "Dee" by email at least EIGHT times requesting that the "verified Amazon review" I paid for be posted. But she has ignored all my emails.

Company rectified a situation outside their control without being asked to do so/made good on everything. Honest people.

Paid my $75 for a review in Spring. This is now August and no review. I've reached out to them several times. No answer. Scammers!

On May 15, 2024 I submitted $217.45 via PayPal to The Book Commentary for five customer reviews of my book "Alaska Deadly" to appear on Amazon. Hearing nothing from The Book Commentary, I sent an email on July 12th and got a reply that "Your order is actually in progress." As an author and book reviewer myself, I know it takes from one to three months to complete a review and, wanting to be fair, I waited until December 4th. Then I contacted The Book Commentary, saying if I didn't get a full refund or evidence that the order would be fulfilled, I would contact the Better Business Bureau. The representative "Dee" did not offer any remedy and I filed a BBB complaint on April 29th. The BBB got no response from The Book Commentary so I am now posting reviews of my experience so other writers and authors are not duped.
