They are great and excellent!!! Use them!!

TheBookPatch is a excellent publishing platform for those with limited knowledge of formatting. Everything you need to publish is included in their platform.
I have done three books with them and I am very satisfied with the results.
I recommend them highly.

Customer service at Book Patch is very good. They respond quickly & fix a problem, if it occurs. It's one of the few book publishers that offer spiral bound, which is good for small booklets, journals, cookbooks, family memories, etc. I will use them again for 3 more projects. Didn't give 5 stars because "excellent" is an extreme word. If I could, I would give them 4.5. One suggestion, I had a question about how much to allow for the spiral binding. The answer is 1/4" on a small booklet. It's a good company & I like the fact it is local for me (Phoenix).

I had a question on a Saturday afternoon about my shipping. I wasn’t expecting a reply until maybe Monday afternoon. To my surprise , my question was answered in a few hours. Kristylle was very helpful and courteous. He quick response makes me want to continue to do business with Bookpatch

I have been ordering books through TheBookPatch for over a year, 10-15 orders for various quantities. This last order there was a slight problem so I sent a message to customer service through the website. It was amazing how fast and thorough they were in checking out the problem, determining it was their problem and reprinting the books at no charge. I recommend them highly.

Per the many horror stories I have heard about self-publishing, I AM PROUD to announce - mine will NOT be one of them. Two years ago, I researched self-publishing, and it led to The Book Patch. I kept their info in my files. I am sooo excited that I did! Meanwhile, I have completed and published my book!

EVERYTHING from The Book Patch’s provided templates, uploading my manuscript, cover photo, the reasonable purchases / registration of my ISBNs, to the plethora of emails sent to Kristylle about whatever was pestering me, I was NEVER made to feel annoying! …and the sugar to my iced tea, Kristylle made me feel as if we were two friends continuing a conversation from "just before."

I've been writing and publishing books with these wonderful people since 2014. My hopes and expectations were/are always high; I've never been disappointed. The quality of the print is excellent. The helpful, polite, and prompt response to my questions is something I prize as well. The BookPatch is just a great place to write and publish!

The Quality of the books, Great!
The timely, customer service return calls, not so great!
If there is a technical issue with production, causing a delay with the order, I should have be notified immediately, so I can make the appropriate adjustment. Especially, concerning expedited shipping cost.

Outstanding! Very easy and great product. Our books came pretty quick and looked great. We printed 10 galley copies and were pleased… the pages were crisp white and overall great quality! Customer service has been wonderful! Kristylle emailed us back right away and very helpful! We are going to print larger quantities and move forward with TheBookPatch!

I was delighted with Book Patch’s service and my customer loved the books. We received the shipment faster than expected and, as a result, my customer has asked me to upload and order another book.

Although I had some difficulty navigating certain features of the upload process, a customer support Ninja (Kristylle) walked me through the challenges of my first order via email support.

While most of my books have been purchased and published by commercial publishers, I have successfully used The Book Patch a half dozen times to print books, not for sale, but to give copies to proofreaders and others to fact- and grammar-check. It is actually a lot less expensive to print a 200-page BP book than to bring a typescript MS on 8.5x11 inch paper to a copy shop. What's more you get to see how your book will look, particularly important if you have many illustrations, as I usually do. And since BP's photo reproduction is excellent, you also get to see how your illustrations will show up. You could actually do this to create copies to show to prospective publishers. The process of preparing, uploading and ordering copies is easy. (I just wish shipping wasn't so expensive; thank heaven for the economical "media mail" option, even though it's usually rather slow.) I now plan to produce a series of small-run local histories, mostly for libraries, something I probably wouldn't have done without BP (and the nice Pages software that comes 'free' with a Mac).

Great email follow-up!

I recently posted a negative review and then updated that one more favorably. We placed another order and are happy to announce we received email responses with production timelines and estimated shipping dates, etc.

Had this happened the first time we would have never said anything bad as the books were very high quality.

This is how customer service and follow-up should happen for any company. As a business coach for 20+ years this what I always teach my clients to do.

My author profit has not been paid and has been withhold for no reason.

I wrote them numerous times but no reply.

My password was change and my paypal email shows DO NOT PAY FRAUD.

The Book Patch has printed five previous books for me, and the results were great. The latest book, printed in August if 2021 was a total disaster.

Books arrived, and the quality was terrible. The print and photos were very light, like the printer/press was low on toner or ink. We threw out the entire order.

Staff support was very sketchy. We were supposed to receive an email regarding shipping address, never received. Received an email saying our order had shipped on the day it arrived. Staff said they were having issues with their email system.

We are out over $700: Books too low quality to use, waste of time and energy. Sad to see a firm who produced quality work ship rejects.

I have used the services of TheBookPatch.Com to meet my publication needs since 2014 regularly for Professional, Organizational, and Family needs. The folks at TBP are timely in delivering my products (whether large or small orders), the copies are always quality, and arrive in excellent condition. Email support responses have been great. As a result, I have regularly recommended their services at work, at Church, among family members, and in my social and professional circles and know that they've also found TBPs services great from their responses.
