The Capital Grille Reviews 14

Our party of four spent a total of $500 for a very disappointing experience. We arrived in time for our reservation but had to wait 20 minutes in the entrance until the server arrived. (We could have been seated at our table instead.) The restaurant was almost empty but we were led to a table adjacent to one with a large, noisy party (apparently, to make the servers' job easier). We didn't see the manager and I assume he was off that evening because he wouldn't have allowed that to happen. Service and food were great, as usual, with the exception of the sauteed spinach, which was hard to eat with all the stems intact. Shame on you!

We selected The Capital Grille for dinner last night and I have to say the experience was terrific. I like to dine out and there is nothing better than walking into a beautiful setting for your meal, being greeted and taken care of by an above average service team, having each and every item brought out to you and it being one better than the next, and interacting with a manager that clearly has control over the whole experience. We had the manager Grant over to discuss what a beautiful night we had and if you go to the Columbus, OH location be sure to request Danielle if you are dining from Tuesday to Saturday. She absolutely enhanced the experience to the point we considered having her join us! Thanks for a great dining experience, we will be back!

A bit pricy but the jumbo lump crab cocktail is a must try. Plus staff were very accommodating! Will definitely come back!

Really nice experience at NJ, we had a blast with the servers and it was just what we all needed - we were there as a big family group and weren't the easiest of people! They made our day, actually my parent's day as it was their anniversary. Couldn't resist saying a huge thank you.

We were at your Schaumburg location yesterday to celebrate Mother's Day. As soon as I entered the place you can see and feel the goodness of the place.
We ordered our appetizers and drinks and started eating. Awesome calamari & crabcakes!
They were served to us. Unfortunately, an emergency came up. We had to leave and when we were asking for our check, our main server Veronica Altamirano was so kind and said that she will take care of our bill. She gave us her card and she said that for our next visit she will take care of us. She showed a genuine compassion for the situation and I highly commend her action and I give her a perfect review. For her kindness, my daughter-in-law gave her a little token of appreciation.

Hands down, amazing service, great food. When I mentioned that I was new to the neighborhood and celebrating a special occasion, they bent over backwards to make my experience extra special. Thank you David, Scott & The Capitol Grill Chevy Chase team!

Celebrated my son’s birthday at the Cherryhill, NJ location and it was wonderful! The service was excellent we were in our own separate room and they had decorated the table for his b day and even had a happy birthday card for him. It was such a lovely surprise and a nice gesture. It totally set the mood for our celebration. Thank you Kim the manager/ hostess who sat us at our special table she was so very nice and gracious. And our wonderful gentleman server who was always on point taking care of our big group and shared great fishing stories that we enjoyed. The food AMAZING as usual here, not one thing that was not enjoyed and delicious! And we all tried different things all very delicious and cooked perfectly! Yes it’s pricey but it’s also well worth it if you’re looking to treat yourself or someone because the service and food are so good! Cherryhill location we thank you for a wonderful night!

When I am in Florida, I am a regular patron at Capital Grille in Fort Lauderdale. I have had consistently good meals and service at this restaurant. Today was the exception: service was sloppy and inattentive, a disinterested server. Bus staff came by to fill water glasses and managed to add water to drinks on the table.
There are MANY competitive venues for fine dining and it will be a long time before I return to Capital Grille. End of the day: not worth the high cost and strongly urge patrons to go elsewhere.

Outstanding food, service was amazong! They really made our anniversary special, from the heart shaped confetti, to attentive service, excellent dinner reccomendations to the very sweet "happy anniversary" on our dessert plate. LaCresha(LC) was the absolute best server I have ever had, when visiting the area again, this is a must go to! Thank you so much for helping us have an amazing night!

The capital Grille had a great menu, and I like their offerings for lunch. Had delicious burger and salad. The service was polite and professional. It's pricey, but worth it.

We went yesterday for my Birthday to SEA SALT Tonya the Manager treated Everyone so nice she made me feel like I was the only one in the World having a Birthday 🎂The food was Amazing and the service was Amazing!! I would go back to SEA SALT it such a beautiful place to go to Thanks for making my Birthday so special!!! Will see you again

Excellent steakhouse, don’t expect low prices, but food is really good, dinner will set you back about 120$ each but it’s well worth it. Be sure to order desert!

One if my favorite places in DC. Fabulous service. Exceptional food and great crowd. You can't go wrong.
