Great company, very happy I went with them. The quality and the design of brackets and netting are excellent which made the installation relatively straightforward. The cost is much cheaper than alternatives. Daniel very generously gave us lots of help and advice on installation.,The system works very well and our agile cats are now safely contained and are very happy ! Thank you Daniel!

I already had a catio but due to age it needed some repairs and wanted to add some extra enrichment for the feline family. Met Dan at The Cat Show Live 2025, and asked some advice regarding repairs and what could be added to the space. We had a couple of FaceTime calls so he could see the space, take into account what I wanted, and also give his perspective on what might work. I received a detailed quote quickly with plans and cost.Dan kept in touch throughout the planning process. Once a date was agreed he arrived when he said he would, and completed the build with no disruption and. The most important thing for me is that cats love it, and I know they are safe.
Dan did exactly what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do did, which it made it easy for me to plan around. Excellent experience.

We contacted The Cat Proof Fence Company around Christmas as we had just adopted our two little Beans and wanted to secure the garden to allow them space to roam whilst keeping them safe. There are a large number of cats and dogs in our area and the girls are so small and had been indoor cats previously so we wanted to make sure they were safe.

We contacted several other pet fence companies at the same time to enquire and ask for quotes.

A well-known pet fence company provided an outrageous quote based nothing other than a satellite Google search, and we didn’t hear from either of the other companies we contacted.

Daniel, from The Cat Proof Fence Company did get back to us really quickly – and we sent the requested information, photos, dimensions of the garden etc and received a very detailed quote based on the different levels in our garden, garden furniture, as well as the breed of our cats!

We were impressed and more than happy with the level of detail given in the responses and voice notes, as well as the quote and went ahead with booking in at the end of March 2026.

Daniel came a day earlier than initially planned to start the job, bring equipment etc – unfortunately we had some issues with the neighbours who, although had given their consent months prior, became upset about “Their View” being disrupted by the posts being installed. Daniel took this in his stride and gave alternatives – this meant the original plan had to be re-thought for a part of our garden and most of the work he and his colleague had done on the Sunday had to be undone on Monday when replacing the posts and brackets with brackets with a lower angle to keep the neighbours “happy”.

Although we were given an estimate of 6 days, the work was completed within 4/5.

Everything was thought of – including a zip in the pet fencing so we can still access behind our out-building – and we can leave this open to provide an escape route for cats that may get into the garden when we’re on away from home.

Daniel mostly worked on his own and was really thorough, especially on the last day, checking and rechecking everything to make sure all points of “escape” were blocked off. We let the girls out for the first time whilst Daniel was still here and it was lovely to see them in the garden.

We both spoke to Daniel many times over the week. He clearly has a love for cats, and has cat proofed his own garden to keep his little terrors safe! This is clearly a business he feels passionate about which has given us peace of mind about our girls' safety.

He also gave us some ideas for catifying some of the areas in our garden, and has left us with spare netting in case we choose to set up a smaller area for them to go outside without supervision (also his idea)

Unfortunately, the weather has still been a bit cold but our girls have been really enjoying exploring and playing outside, and cry to be let out when we get up in the morning. We’re looking forward to enjoying the summer, knowing our girls are safe.

High quality construction, excellent service

Dan and his team were polite, easy to talk to and knowledgable about their work. Hard working and thorough. The cat fencing with gates that they installed for me is a quality product. Our cats love their new outdoor space to play and explore, and it gives the security and safety that I desired.

Dan was very patient when I put things on hold due to death of my mother.
He arrived on the due date - with his dad helping- and was a pleasure to deal with. He worked quickly and efficiently and left no mess.
We already had a cat fence with insecure spinners on top so Dan devised a way to attach the curved mesh top pieces. Also attaching some mesh to the bottom of a gate that the older cat was too fat to get under - but not the kittens.! Would whole heartedly recommend him.

Dan was great from initial consult to providing a detailed plan and plan he components we need for our self install. Any hiccups we came across installing he was at the end of the WhatsApp chat with advice and solutions. Would highly recommend, so far the little escape artistes have not bypassed the installation and are safely enjoying the garden.

From the very beginning, Dan was incredibly thorough and professional. Before the installation, he spent considerable time with me on the phone carefully planning the project. He even created a detailed PDF showing exactly how the fence would look in my garden, which helped me visualize the final result.

Since he lives outside London, Dan suggested doing a video call from my garden so he could assess the space properly. During the call he patiently guided me through measuring the area and used that information to plan the exact posts, brackets, and materials required. It was clear that he takes meticulous care to get things right before even arriving on site.

His quote was also very reasonable and noticeably lower than other companies I had spoken to, including Protect-a-Pet and similar providers.

On the installation day, Dan arrived exactly on time and worked incredibly hard despite rain and challenging weather conditions. The fence he installed is strong, discreet, and perfect for keeping my four indoor cats safe in the garden while still looking unobtrusive.

Dan also helped uninstall the bird netting at my previous apartment and repaired the small fixing points so neatly that my landlord could not find any damage at all.

Overall, Dan combines technical skill with reliability, honesty, and genuine care for doing the job properly. If you are looking for a safe, well-designed cat-proof solution, I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

Dan was professional from the outset and created a detailed plan for the installation, making clear all materials and methods he would use and the corresponding prices. He placed a temporary work tent on our garden and spent a few days carrying out the installation. He explained the steps and decisions he was making throughout the installation, and we agreed on the adjustments to the plan.
His work is clean and professional, therefore highly recommended. So far our cat didn't find a way out, and our neighbour's cats a way in :)

I recently had a cat enclosure fitted by the Cat Proof Fence Company and I couldn't be happier.

From my initial enquiry, Dan was extremely helpful and answered the many questions I had about the enclosures. I'd never had one before, so his knowledge and advice helped me to make the decision to go ahead in order to keep my new kittens safe.

He provided me with a sketch of where the netting/brackets would go, alongside the quote so that I had an idea of how it would look. This was later amended after I'd removed my shed. Nothing was too much trouble and I feel that Dan has a real passion for cats and their safety.

We recently bought a cat-proof fencing system to secure our garden and keep our two cats safe, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Dan, the owner, was incredibly helpful from the outset. He took the time to design the fencing layout specifically for our garden and provided two clear quotations — one for supply only and one for supply and fit — which made the decision process really straightforward.

We chose to fit the system ourselves, and Dan went above and beyond to support us. He provided bespoke, easy-to-follow videos alongside the equipment, which were invaluable when my son and I were doing the installation. Everything was well thought out and clearly explained.

The fencing looks great now it’s installed, and the equipment itself feels robust and very well made.

Great service from start to finish. Dan was amazing and very helpful. We opted for the DIY version as our gardener fit it all for us. The fencing is top quality and the process for ordering was so easy. Highly recommended.

Daniel is kind, warm hearted and truly cares for the cats, as a result, this shows in his good work and dedication. I have a Bengal cat LuzyLuz and we know, bengals are agile and can jump higher than other type of breeds. He meticulously examined my garden area and thought of any weak spots that needed the most attention. He then cat proofed my garden, indeed. My cats can’t get out anymore, LuzyLuz was using a catio area as a way out. Daniel sealed all areas thoroughly, carefully stapling every gap and also checking for possible nails on the floor!! He speaks cat language, aware of all potential hazards, no need to tell him. He also kindly helped me to put up few trellis before sealing the area, at no cost. He also talked to me several times in video calls, answering all my questions, before doing the job. He also accommodated the dates when I could have the job done.
