Unlike other reviews I did not click on any .1p or free downloads this £34.99 debit just appeared in my account. How did they get my details? Reported to Action Fraud and bank.
I clicked to reveal an image on a Facebook link, with a payment of £0 being taken merely to prove I was over 18. However, this was a ‘one-day trial’ of their subscription service before £34.99 was charged to my account. This is clearly fraud. I have reported to Action Fraud UK.
My wife clicked on a PDF download for 1p (ironically, for a church service, for kids!!) and suddenly £34.99 is going out of our account. I think the lesson here is not necessarily a Biblical one - never pay anything to anyone online unless you are 100% sure you know what you’re getting and who you are paying. She couldn’t even download the PDF sheet! Currently contacting our bank to report a fraud.
