Our daughter has studied at The Coding Space more or less continuously for four years, since she turned 8. The teachers and teaching have been uniformly excellent (despite a fair bit of turnover, and a change in control). The Coding Space does a great job of creating a fun, relaxed environment where each student can pursue a challenging, self-directed project at their own level, while imbibing the culture and vocabulary of the tech world at a young age. It's been a life-saver for us as parents who come from the humanities world, but aim to raise a girl in STEM. This is not a glorified daycare where the kids waste their time on video games. The only games our daughter plays are ones she programs herself using Javascript, Html, and CSS. She has dreamt of being an engineer ever since visiting Etsy's Brooklyn offices, during a summer camp at The Coding Space.

My son started at The Coding Space after learning about it from a friend. He loves computers, is into gaming, and loves to be creative with anything he can get his hands on be it PowerPoint, Pages, Word, you name it. Learning to code has been an outstanding experience for him-- the environment is extremely nurturing to beginners, and it's really exciting for him to be creating games on his own. I would highly recommend it!

It's a great place for kids to learn independent thinking. It also provides the tools for solving problems.

The Coding Space has provided my daughter and my son with incredible skill sets, including problem-solving, confidence, and being able to be creative in many different ways all while having fun. It is a joy to see them each succeed, albeit in their own different ways, and to feel great about their achievements. The Coding Space just keeps enabling them to open up more and more doors themselves as they set their sights higher and higher.

Excellent teachers, environment and all around class for kids of all ages. Luke continues to learn and be challenged....

I would (and have) recommend Coding Space to anyone who will listen. Professional, dedicated, thoughtful staff who have the latest tools to teach kids to code, and learn perseverance along the way.

Excellent experience, my 4th grader loved going to class and learned more in 7 weeks than anywhere else!

I asked my daughter to rate coding class and she gave it a five. She said she had a lot of fun and learned a lot. The teacher's were very helpful and she looks forward to attending more classes in the future.
