Shane is a very good coach

Shane is a very good coach, I was always nervous and anxious about my weight (I was really skinny) but with the right advice and knowledge shane got me to where I needed to be. I would highly recommend him, 10/10.

Smith fit review

I've been working with Shane for the last 2 months and it's the first time I've been able to achieve and more importantly sustain the progress I've made. Shane has an extensive knowledge of nutrition and is on the cutting edge of all training techniques...so whether you want to loose weight, get bigger or improve your strength for a particular sport or activity Shane will be able to help.

Great advice!

Shane gave me great advice about my diet and exercise regime. He contacted me a few times a week checking in with my diet and exercise goals and how to manage them when time was short. He was great to deal with!

Shane had been working with me since…

Shane had been working with me since October of 2020. During this time l have found Shane very helpful & encouraging especially during the times l felt unmotivated. He has great knowledge & is more than willing to share his knowledge with you in anyway he can. He is very supportive which I greatly appreciate especially at my age that I don’t feel it’s just for young fit people.

Highly recommend-Smith-Fit

I signed up to Smith-Fit on January 4th 2021. My aim was to lose weight and make healthier food choices.

When i received my plan from Shane what i liked the most was the honesty in his nutritional advices and how easy it was to follow. I received a pack with online tutorials about how to read the plan, use apps such as my fitness pal, sample meal plans, my calorie intake, any number of recipes all barcoded and ready to scan on my fitness pal. This made life so much easier. The work is done for me! It’s thought me how to read labels and calories. I find i’m eating foods that keep me fuller for longer and reduced any cravings. I also have treats too as long as it’s within my calories! It’s magic!

Shane is very personable and supportive, i’ve two weekly check ins. Shane always has great words of encouragement even when a week hasn’t gone according to plan. I’m down 4kg and counting, i’ve lost inches all over, and fitting into clothes much better after the “covid eating” fiasco!

I’ve seen real results in the short space of time i’ve been with Smith-Fit, i’d highly recommend Shane to anyone, just trust in the process!

Highly recommended

I always struggled with my weight. I wasn’t happy with my appearance or the food I was eating. Shane helped me every step of the way and after 6 weeks I was delighted with my results. I felt great, looked good and was eating great meals! Shane made it so easy and enjoyable! Can’t recommend this guy enough.

Top class nutrition advice and support

I have been working with Shane @ Smith Fit for 2 months now and honestly cannot speak highly enough of my experience. Not only are my physical results so far much better but also mentally. I have a greater knowledge now of what my body needs and why because Shane has a way of communicating difficult things very simply. He’s very engaging and very supportive. Looking forward to the months and years ahead.

Supporting a lifestyle change

Did a 6 week program with Shane which we extended to 8 weeks and lost ~4.5kg. Shane checks in bi-weekly on progress and is happy to help with any questions. Due to lockdown, we had to improvise regarding workouts and Shane put together a number of challenging home sessions. The information pack provided is eye opening and Shane arms you with the tools to make a maintainable lifestyle change. Really recommend the program and have a trainer was the kick-start I needed.

Smith - Fit Review

Shane is excellent at what he does, very professional and encouraging. Before drawing up my tailored nutrition plan, he asked me about my goals, activity levels and food preferences. The accountability with Shane is fantastic. Not only were there bi- weekly check ins, but he was at the end of the phone if ever I had any questions/concerns. He's an excellent motivator and has provided me with the tools and resources to make informed nutrition choices for life.

I couldn't recommend Shane enough

I couldn't recommend Shane enough! ⭐️ I signed up with Shane just after new years, I'm a crossfitter and I would train quite a bit and wanted to get back in shape and peek in my performance so I wanted to learn to fuel myself properly! I started my nutrition plan with him on the 5th of January and within a week the changes in my body shape, mood and energy was amazing! Shane is great for checking in with you to keep you accountable, make sure your doing okay and staying on track.
His recipes and meal plans are unbelievable, all full of flavour and so tasty, I enjoy eating healthy!!

I'm going into my 10th week now and iv never been happier. My progress pictures are unbelievable, I'm not bloated anymore and my overall performance in my training has peeked hugely!!
If your looking to lose weight, tone up or fuel properly for performance he's your man ☺️

Would highly recommend Shane

Would highly recommend Shane. He really knows his stuff, the science behind the exercise and diet.

Has a great approach and is really supportive and consistent in his coaching.

So happy I enlisted his support, if I hadn't received the below message from Shane I might never have figured out I wasn't consistently eating enough to be healthy.

"Your RMR is nearly 1400kcals which is what you'd need in a coma. You're not leaving yourself enough food to support basic bodily functions. Its fine in the short term but need to stay on top of it. Your healths your wealth"

This message says it all in how Shane coaches, extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, non judgmental and always so human!

My Smith-Fit experience

Before my Smith-Fit experience, I found myself intermittently using google for advice on food and nutrition. Taking bits and pieces of info and thinking it would make a difference for me. It had a predictably average outcome.
I knew the results I wanted but couldn’t find the right path.
Shane gave me the access to detailed tailored nutritional advice which focused my attention on the areas that would actually help me to reach my goals.
Over the course of the six week programme (in conjunction with CrossFit Tullamore training sessions) I steadily gained 2kg of weight and increased my muscle mass allowing me to lift heavier weights while also improving my cardio fitness.
I now feel a lot stronger and also a lot more energetic. I am also confident that I now have the tools to push on and continue to improve. Thank you Shane.

I've been trying to put on healthy mass…

I've been trying to put on healthy mass over the last number of years and never had much success. Got a 6 week plan off Shane and have seen good progress in both size and strength. Shane was always at hand to give advice or guidance, we even had to alter the plan a bit after the first 2 weeks and there was no issue. Very approachable and personable, 10/10.

Would highly recommend!

Done a 6 week nutrition plan with Shane and it has helped me so much to lose weight but more importantly change my mindset when it comes to food. He tailored the plan to my exact needs and constantly checked in on me throughout the programme. Shane was so dedicated throughout the weeks and I am so glad I did it !
