Great office space for small businesses

I enjoy working at the crate with a flexible office space agreement. The community is good to be part of for a small business owner. The facilities are comfortable and setup for both focused work and for a more interactive environment where business can be lonely if you are doing it on your own. I highly recommend the crate as a shared office space to work in.

The Crate Flexible Office Space…

The Crate Flexible Office Space (website thecrate.co.nz) entered into an agreement with our company. The agreement was 1 page with basic terms and conditions.

A year later, one of their employees misunderstood/didn't read the agreement and was upset when the contract automatically renewed as stated on the agreement.

They continued to threaten us and avoid any accountability.

They are continuing to threaten us today and we will not be bullied into doing something. They have used every tactic possible "We will report you to the government", "We will post about your online", etc.. All just a basic bullying strategy to get us to do what they want "or else". Won't work with us and you should be careful too. This type of behavior often results in defamation and/or a lawsuit.

We highly advise any company that is entering into an agreement with any monetary value to be cautious. This goes for any software providers, financial institutions, real estate holdings. Some customers are just not worth the headache.

If an organization can't be trusted to respect the terms and conditions they put their signature on and will ignore it to suit their needs at a later time, it is very hard to avoid conflict with them.

Just so your legal or compliance team can be aware, they have violated many clause within the agreement including a NDA. Showing complete disregard for mutually agreed upon terms.
