Disappointing experience

Disappointing experience. Upon arrival I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled that morning. No notification, no contact, not even a simple phone call. To make matters worse the guy in reception didn’t give a monkies, made no effort to assist and left me and my wife with a headache to sort. Really poor experience and will never consider this hotel again. A taxi driver advised me this is not the first time he has heard of this hotel cancelling bookings at the last minute - pretty obvious that it was over subscribed and I was simply the last to arrive when all rooms had already gone. Poor show.

The worst hotel ever experienced

1. No heating available in the room.
2. Defective shower heat control.
3. Contents of bed covers synthetic and uncomfortable.
4. Room damp and cold.
Can definitely not be recommended

No refund possible. Management offered the only other available room, but this was in the same condition i.e. not heated, damp and health risk.
Management denied refund, as they said they had offered another room. Complaint through booking.com and to the hotel management with the hotels complaint form gave no response.
