Richard dealt with our backlog of plumbing issues. He was very thorough, professional, and above all incredibly tidy. We were very pleased with his work and will most certainly be recommending him to others.

Rich has just upgraded our heating to a Nest system including adding new radiator stats. It’s been on our to do list for a while. He has been super efficient from first enquiry to completion of the work. Very professional, knowledgeable and a top job. Would thoroughly recommend his services and we are now using him for a bathroom upgrade.

Richard is a rare find. Someone who is reliable and responds quickly to messages and quotes. I contacted him only a couple of weeks ago and we had the quotes back within a few days and have been able to firm up work for two jobs for us. On top of that we had need due to an emergency to make contact with him on Saturday evening around 9pm, within an hour we had plans in place to resolve the issue the very next Sunday morning which he did quickly and efficiently. We are so pleased he has moved in to the neighbourhood and are looking forward to the works being completed in October.

We were impressed with The Devon Plumber from our first meeting. He listened to our requirements, gave helpful advice and worked with us to get a plan for our plumbing renovations. His quote was comprehensive and realistic. Richard arrived at the expected time every day, was always polite and friendly and checked we were happy at each stage of the work. He worked in a tidy careful way ensuring minimal disruption to my partner who often works from home. He completed the central heating system in the time frame given and in line with his quote. He gave us clear instruction in how to best use the system.

Richard recently installed a full new heating system for us (boiler, radiators and pipework). He was great at listening to what we needed talking us through the options, and offering sound advice. We had a problem with a gas boiler and needed a fast repair. The problem was only identified on a Saturday morning when many plumbers are closed. Fortunately we came across Richard. He advised us that he was starting a big new project on the following Monday and although he could look at the boiler for us, if new parts were required he wouldn't be able to source them until the following Tuesday. However, I wanted to see if there was perhaps a 'quick fix' to the boiler and Richard came round about an hour later.
Richard was polite and professional in his approach and examined the boiler. He advised us as to what he thought were the causes of the problem and was honest in letting us know that he wouldn't be able to fit in a repair due to other commitments. He suggested contacting Bosch as it was one of their boilers and so we did this. A Bosch engineer came out on the following Wednesday and fixed the boiler. The problems were as Richard had identified.
I would certainly use Richard in the future and would also recommend him to others.

Richard responded promptly to our enquiry when our Mira shower stopped working. He offered us very reasonable pricing options for repair or replacement, sourced the part very quickly and came to fit it within a few days. His work was tidy and efficient and we’re delighted with the result. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to others.

We had a long-runnng problem with a leaking shower room and noisy pipes. Richard gave us a very reasonable quote and was able to start work the next day. Punctual, professional and very tidy, we are extremely pleased with his work. We will definitely be using his services again. Highly recommended.
