We worked with The Directory Guys for about a year for SEO services, and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations. We are running a multimillion dollar Company and the services provided our aggressively low value.

Most of the work consisted of low-quality Google Business Profile posts using images taken from our own social media, often not formatted properly. The monthly reports provided little meaningful insight beyond what we were already tracking ourselves through paid advertising.

We were also concerned with the backlink strategy being used, which appeared to rely on low-quality sources, including slideshow-style videos with little to no engagement or value.

During our time working together, our Google Business Profile was suspended for several weeks, which had a significant impact on our business and raised concerns about how the account was being managed.

I also find it odd that they do not have a google business page, and solely rely on trust pilot for user reviews. This should have been a red flag for me in the beginning, unfortunately I chose to ignore my gut instinct.

Overall, we did not see measurable improvements in rankings, traffic, or lead generation, and the service did not deliver a return on investment. Based on our experience, I would recommend that other business owners carefully evaluate what is actually being delivered and ensure there is clear, measurable value before committing.

Buy beware and avoid at all costs.

Such an amazing service! Since they started helping me, I’ve noticed that my Google account is perfectly set up. My visibility to clients has increased, and I always receive detailed performance reports by email, followed by a call to explain the current situation and discuss possible improvements. Anisah is absolutely phenomenal—super patient with my busy schedule, extremely professional, and very friendly.

Verbally abusive customer service agent “Anisha” I even emailed them back to inform them of her poor service and was never given a response back. I was with this company for approximately a year, I was told I could cancel via email or text. They forced me to get on a phone call not convenient to my scheduling or I would be unable to cancel. They took this opportunity to become aggressive and rude to pressure me into continuing their service.

Terrible experience. After 1 month of signing on with them my google was suspended indefinitely, I lost all my reviews and 8 years of trust I had with google. After months I was able to get my reviews back onto a new profile, while apparently they tried and failed consistently. Their refund policy is a sham. The worst decision I’ve ever made in business was hiring this company. I have to stop my self from all the bad things I could say.

Terrible company. Complete scam. They charge for services they don’t do and then defend saying they are done. When asked about there refund policy they deny stating it’s not valid. Strongly recommend staying away from this terrible company. Completely unprofessional. Received over 140 calls from them in then last 2 months because I wished to cancel via email they wouldn’t until I answered my phone. What company or person thinks that’s ok to call someone that much.
