FALSE ADVERTISING - DID NOT RECV BOOK
I ordered a James Patterson book on 8/7/24 that I believed to be a hard copy. I ordered it from thedomchek.com, but got an invoice ID from beelooko.com. My PayPal account was charged on 8/7/24. There was no mention at all of this being an ebook. After not receiving the book, on 8/27/24 I emailed both thedomchek.com and beelooko.com. Received nothing from thedomchek. Received a response from beelooko telling me this was an ebook. Besides not recvg the hard copy book, I also did not receive an email with the link for the ebook. Definitely false and fraudulent advertising and sales.
Not a pleasant experience
Not a pleasant experience. I ordered a book in July, 2024. Sold to me, as I understood it, to be a hardcopy book. Did not receive it. I sent a message and was told that it was en E-book. I claimed reimbursement due to false advertisement. Did not receive a response.
I ordered what I thought was a book
I ordered what I thought was a book. I found it in an email, downloaded it, but it won't read in my kindle app. It's just a pdf of all the pages.
0 stars should be an option
Two weeks after ordering 3 books but never receiving them or a tracking number, I tried contacting them. Their phone # provided on their website answers with a recording that says they do not take phone calls, and only respond to emails. I sent an email to the address provided on their website and it came back as invalid; see below.

Scam scam scam scam scam
Scam scam scam scam scam
Do not use them. Sells ebooks - pdfs! - probably stolen when advertised as hard covers.
Scam!!!
I’ve had the same experience as others. I ordered a hard copy but received only a pdf. No response to my numerous emails.
I should have known the price was “too good to be true”! Plus “free shipping”. LOL!
Doesn’t deserve even one star. 😡
I ordered a book-I wanted the hardcopy
I ordered a book-I wanted the hard copy. I never received a message saying it had shipped. When I looked at my original order, it said digital not hard copy. It could have been my user error, but I'm usually careful re what I order. When I emailed to cancel the digital version and request a hard copy, I received a flat "no." Be careful what you order from this site-I won't use them again.
Contacted PayPal and told them this is…
Contacted PayPal and told them this is a scam they are looking into it.
Thank you PayPal!
I got scammed good here!!!
I got scammed good here!!!! These people are crooks! Won't send my book and won't issue refund. Contacted Better Business Bureau!
Can I give ZERO stars?
Can I give ZERO stars! This is a total scam and the website should be locked! They took my money and sent nothing -- not even a "PDF download" of the book OR an audio book, as other review state.
DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS SELLER!
Total Scam don't buy
Total Scam don't buy. Asked Pay Pal for money back they complied. Site never sent a book but are scanning the book and sending some sort of audio book that I never wanted or received as I only found out later by reading these reviews. Misleading-Deceptive seller should be put out of business. check out Better Business Bureau ratings they received an "F". I should report you to Geddy Lee. You guys are stealing his hard earned money for his book
Scam site
My husband ordered me a book only to find out that it is a PDF downloadable copy only. There is NOTHING in the posting for the book saying it is not a physical copy, there are even shipping instructions. This site is a scam.
WARNING - False/misleading advertising
WARNING: this site is a scam - unless you are intent on ordering a digital download of a book.
Similar to others, I fell victim to the false advertising and received a digital download of what I had thought was a physical copy (hard cover or paperback) of a book. I read over the book description, as well as the 'about us' sections of the site and found no notice that what I was ordering was a digital copy. I responded to the order confirmation email I received informing them that I had wanted a hard copy and requested a hard copy or a refund. The response email came back in the same day in broken English stating there are no refunds for digital downloads.
There should be a requirement to list exactly what you are ordering (digital/physical copy) on the site, and it should be in easy view for any customers. Though, I suppose that would be very bad for their business, as customers would then know what they were purchasing before hand, and I am guessing the majority of folks purchasing from this website want a physical copy and not a digital download.
Imagine, you go to a restaurant, point at a photo on the menu of what you want to order, sit down, and they bring you a picture of the food you ordered. Technically, it's what you ordered, but it's not what you wanted. No refunds. Yeah, it's kind of like that.
Total SCAM
Total SCAM! I ordered a hard copy cookbook and after inquiring about shipment they said it was a non-refundable digital download. Sure hope Paypal can settle matter. Sure wish I had read these reviews before purchasing.
Do not buy
Do not buy! Misleading advertising. Scam. My experience is identical to that of others. The google description stated I was receiving a hardcover book and finally (after multiple attempts of reaching them as my 'hardcover' book never showed up in the mail) I was told that I purchased an eBook with no refund. I have filed a dispute with Paypal and hope to get a refund through them. Stay away from thedomcheck.com!
The company is a scam
The company is a scam. Says they only sale hard copy books but I received a download book and once I figured this out I've tried to contact them multiple times with no response. Do not buy anything from this company
Do NOT buy anything from this company
Do NOT buy anything from this company. I was under the impression that I was purchasing a hard copy book as it was supposed to be a gift. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I would’ve known that I was buying a digital download. I requested a refund but was told that I already received my copy so basically I’m screwed. The description should be more clear. Apparently all this company cares about is scamming as many people as possible. I should’ve looked at all the negative reviews before purchasing from them.
Scam
Scam. As others have noted, they advertise hard-copy books, and deliver (at best) e-copies. (The ad I responded to said “hardcover” — and there does not even appear to be an electronic version, even if I wanted one.) I asked for a refund and was denied, so I’ll be pursuing other options.
DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. Tried to contact the company after 3 weeks still with no package, just to realize I was tried into buying an e-book. This website is BS.
