The D'Souza Clinic Reviews 

I write this on day seven after my procedure and I continue to be thoroughly impressed by Dr D’Souza and his team’s work.

I immediately trusted Dr D’Souza at the first consultation, which was a very helpful face-to-face meeting. I was asked important questions about my feelings and expectations for my hair, in addition to the more typical medical questions. I was particularly struck by Dr D’Souza’s comparatively conservative approach to my hair restoration. Whereas others had advised extensive FUE procedures, Dr D’Souza explained the merits of a less interventionist approach when combined with hair loss drugs in my case. He was also more than happy to share photos of other clients’ experiences with him.

As for the day of the procedure, the team were exceedingly considerate and approachable. I felt very at ease and even enjoyed the experience.

Although early days, I am very happy with the outcome so far - my new hairline looks natural and strong. And the care I have received to date has been second to none.

I have to be honest I've literally never written one of these before but on this occasion I'm happy to do so. First up, I'm on day 8 and very happy with where things are. Importantly, all my contact from first enquiry was with Chris, unlike a couple of other places where I only spoke to a sales-person (I had to request a chat with the actual surgeon). Just as importantly, Chris is affiliated with the US Association of FUE surgeons (I forget the exact organisation but you can look it up) and as we all know, Americans don't hand out invites to just anyone, so that immediately reassured me. He's also in the European one, so more reassurance. Fifthly, he's been doing this a good number of years and this is all he does - it's not one of the strings to his bow, it's the bow. Further to that, he's just a nice guy - not grounds alone for using him but not irrelevant either. He is, however, extremely patient and thorough, asking YOU questions, offering great answers to my questions... you feel in good hands. The procedure itself was no fuss, efficient, great team (Thank you all four of you), not too drawn out and about as stress-free as possible. You're really taken care of and he's there all the time, either doing elements himself or overseeing his team. My only quibble was the option of Whatsits as a snack, nothing serious but they've always given me the creeps. As I say, it's only day 8 - but I'm recommending him.

I can confidently say that having done my research for hair transplants in London, I would recommend dr D’Souza’s clinic over any other place You May come across including on Harley street. In my view there is no comparison at all with his level of professionalism, the team of technicians, his assistant, the quality of the clinic and the whole experience overall. All I would say is that pls go and visit him once and you won’t need to go any further. I have recommended him to everyone who has asked me about my procedure. He will do the consultation himself as opposed to using a marketing consultant, make you understand the process, do the whole procedure himself in his clinic in Harley street (not just have a consultation there like many others) and make you extremely comfortable with what is potentially a life changing event. He is extremely approachable, very swift to respond to any queries both before and after the procedure and very pleasant to deal with. If that is not enough, he is also the most qualified surgeon in London with all the relevant qualifications in the specific field of hair transplants. Pls do not look any further.

Very happy with the outcome and fingers crossed for final result in 18 months.

Excellent and Professional. The day went very smoothly and the results are exactly in line with what was communicated and expected. During the day the team were attentive and helpful whenever called upon.

It is just 8 days since the op but so far the experience has been totally satisfactory. I had previously undergone a fue hair transplant in another clinic and my recent experience at the D'Souza clinic has been much more pleasant. The staff are very friendly and professional and Dr D'Souza was very attentive and kind to all my requests. The aftercare is extremely well designed by the clinic from the start, and I received very competent and caring advice from Dr D'Souza, who even texted me a few days after the op to hear how I was doing. Obviously the result will only be visible in a few months from now but so far I strongly recommend this clinic.

I visited the D'Souza clinic last December having previously spoken to consultants at 5 other clinics, none of whom I felt comfortable with, mainly because I felt that they were too pushy and was not convinced that they took the time to get to know me. In contrast, I was immediately made to feel at ease by Mr D'Souza who took the time to go through the various options with me and was entirely transparent about the cost of each and what I could expect in terms of results. Mr D’Souza was not in any way pushy which immediately gave me confidence that he was genuine and not trying to sell me a treatment that may not have been what I really wanted. I ultimately decided not to go ahead with the full transparent but instead to try one of the "off the shelf" treatments, namely Minoxidil that Mr D' Souza had recommended. I have been very pleased with the results so far which have been better than expected. I am keeping the option of undergoing a transplant under review. As the experience made me feel entirely at ease, there is only one place where I would go for further advice or surgical treatment - the D'Souza clinic. An honest, transparent and comfortable experience all round.

The experience from start to finish couldn't be better and I couldn't recommend Mr D'Souza more. The hair transplant market is an increasingly crowded one, making it hard to know who to go for, and a huge variation in price, with often the perception that the most expensive surgeons necessarily provide some 'edge' in terms of results. Mr D'Souza has a huge amount of experience with both FUE/FUT and was a former NHS surgeon, and yet the price was very reasonable (and less than some pay for laser eye surgery!). We opted for FUE over FUT in my case based on his analysis of various factors.
The operation itself, despite being 9 hours (!), was absolutely fine, and I was provided excellent aftercare for the week that followed it. Both he and the 4 medical technicians on the day were all extremely professional.

In the week after when I have restarted work, many colleagues have noted their astonishment that there is no sign of the 'aftereffects' of having surgery (other than of course, having hair!).
