The Edge Funder is a direct-to-funded futures prop firm built for traders who want a straightforward, transparent path to accessing capital. Unlike traditional prop firms that require traders to pass multi-phase evaluations before earning anything, The Edge Funder places traders into a funded environment from day one. There is no evaluation phase, no reset cycles, and no starting over from zero after passing a challenge. Traders are able to keep the progress they make while working toward payout eligibility. Our model is designed around consistency and risk management. Clear rules such as profit thresholds and consistency guidelines are in place to encourage sustainable trading habits rather than relying on one large trade. All rules, pricing, and account details are fully available before purchase so traders understand exactly how the accounts operate. We support multiple trading platforms including TradingView and Volumetrica, giving traders flexibility based on their preferred setup. In addition to the platform itself, traders gain access to an active community and coaching environment where questions are answered quickly and support is always available. The Edge Funder is not a get-rich-quick system. Trading requires discipline, patience, and continuous learning. Our goal is to provide traders with the structure, tools, and support needed to grow over time and become consistently profitable.

I didn't like it at all

I didn't like it at all. It was my first go at a prop firm. If they are all like this then I do not want any parts of them. There are too many rules and guidelines in my honest opinion. I also didnt know how to setup the order panel which I why I ended up having a couple of really bad trading days. I entered the trades completely wrong and ended up going in the hole roughly 5k. I asked the coaches in the discord for help and was told to look on YouTube. I kinda figured it out (not really) and was able to get to the required 7 successful days trading, but was unable to get a payout because I did not bring the account back to break even, and I had an 81% win rate. I bought the 150k account and was not even able recoup my initial $500 investment. It was a valuable lesson though. I learned that prop firms are not for me. Which is what I wanted to figure out anyway. The rules are stated when you open an account. I didn't experience any scams or anything foul, but I'd do much better with a private account. The coaches are all great and very responsive in the discord. I also learned my trading strategy from Joovier so I thank him for that. If you don't have the money for a private account then I guess prop firms are fine, but if you have 5-10k I suggest learning and back testing a winning strategy and going with a private account. Just my two cents

Thank you for sharing your experience.

We appreciate the honesty in your review, especially you noting that the rules were clearly stated, support was responsive, and there was nothing misleading or unfair about the platform.

Based on your feedback, it sounds like the challenges came from trading errors and the learning curve of using a prop firm for the first time. Because of that, a 1-star rating doesn’t really reflect the experience you described.

Trading within a structured environment can be an adjustment, and it’s not the right fit for everyone, but we’re glad to hear you were still able to take value from it and that the coaches and community were helpful.

Wishing you the best moving forward with your trading.

Thank you for your feedback.

Just to clarify, the 7 trading days do not need to be consecutive. They can be completed at your own pace, as long as each day meets the minimum profit requirement.

The consistency rule is designed to prevent payouts based on a single oversized trade and instead encourage steady, repeatable performance over time.

We also see that there is no record of an active or past account associated with your review. We always encourage traders to fully review the rules or try the platform themselves before forming conclusions, as everything is clearly outlined ahead of time.

For newer traders, we generally recommend starting in a demo environment first, as trading within structured rules can be challenging without experience.

If you ever decide to trade with us, our support team is always available to help.

Should have looked at reviews first

Should have looked at reviews first. This supposedly is not a challenge and the only way to blow the account is when it gets down to zero but three days in my account was blown. I still don't know why. The supposed support hasn't answered yet. The reset is another $500. I don't think so! This was such a waste of time and money. Don't go in unless your strategy is already perfect.

Thank you for the feedback, we understand your frustration.

Just to clarify, the accounts are direct-to-funded, meaning there is no evaluation phase, but they still operate with defined risk limits. Accounts can be closed if those limits are hit, which is outlined in the rules before trading.

Regarding support, we do respond to all inquiries, though response times can vary depending on volume. We’re always working to improve response times and make sure traders get the help they need.

Reset fees and subscription details are also listed upfront before purchase so traders can fully understand the structure before getting started.

Trading requires both strategy and risk management, and while our model may not fit every trader, many are able to operate within these rules successfully.

If you’d like, our support team can revisit your case and make sure everything was addressed properly.

Study the rules religiously or else

You need to make sure you understand all the rules/chalenges before buying in. I put My Self in a unrecoverable position. I had a trade hit 10k profit in 2 minutes and it pushed my payout target from $6,000 to $53,000. If I continued with the subscription I would need 3+ months of perfect $1200 trading days to reach the new payout. If I reset the account i would be charged $400 and still be charged the monthly subscription of $400. That's 800 bucks in less than a week. I messed up and they can not help me so I have to abandon the account and all that profit.

Just to clarify, the profit target does not jump to those levels. What you’re seeing is the consistency rule in effect. When a single trading day makes up too large of your total profit, additional profit is required so that one day does not exceed the allowed percentage. This can make it feel like the target has increased significantly, but it’s actually balancing out that one large day.

For example, a $10K day on a $100K account would require additional consistent profit days so that it fits within the rule. This is designed to encourage steady trading rather than relying on one oversized trade.

All of this is outlined in the rules before purchase so traders can understand how to manage position sizing and avoid situations like this.

We understand that situation can be frustrating, especially after a strong trade. If you’d like, our support team can walk through your account with you and show exactly what happened.

Average overall, one big advantage if you can catch the offer

For me the fact that they recently offered accounts with 0 drawdown, 0 daily loss it's unheard of so far, at least until payout threshold is reached, and one can really benefit from this, even if only to learn how to trade (with a potential payout).
True the prices are a bit high, but not that bad, similar to others in the industry.
Something they advertise is that the prop firm is done by traders for trades, i think this is not fully accurate, there are many restrictive rules.
I suggest remove the consistency rule or at least have it at 40%-50%, one might have a fantastic day with excellent profits and several average days. Also one cannot fully take advantage of trending days to maximise profits + 7 days to take a payout is quite long.
Second the daily loss limits are very low 2%, for 150k account at least 4% is ideal, so one can take advantage of the bigger positions. Also you have the daily drawdown, this is a big issue for many traders, just remove it. Since when BE means a lost trade?
Also 7 days to get 50% payout total very very low, and 90% only after 4 payouts, very, very restrictive and challenging.
I do not see any huge advantage from other prop firms that offer funded accounts, nor in price or rules.
I agree if one is in the inner circle might learn some good strategies, however the membership is quite costly.
If you really made this for traders and you want to give back, you have to offer more flexibility.

Thank you for taking the time to share detailed feedback, we appreciate it.

You brought up some valid points and suggestions. Our goal with the rules, including consistency and risk limits, is to promote sustainable trading and protect accounts from being blown too quickly. While it may feel restrictive at times, the structure is designed to reward consistency rather than relying on a few large days.

Regarding pricing and structure, we aim to stay competitive with the industry while offering instant funding. One of the key differences is that traders are able to keep the profits they make as they work toward the payout threshold, rather than going through an evaluation phase and starting over from zero.

We understand that every trader has a different style, and not every model will be a perfect fit for everyone. Feedback like this is helpful as we continue to refine and improve the experience.

We appreciate you giving The Edge Funder a try.

Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it.

We understand pricing and limits can feel different depending on your trading style. Our goal is to balance the structure in a way that allows traders to stay active while also maintaining proper risk management across accounts.

It’s also important to keep in mind that we operate as an instant funding prop firm. When you compare pricing across the industry, including activation fees, the overall cost is not much different. The key difference is with our model, you’re able to keep the profits you make as you work toward the payout threshold. With many other firms, you’re required to pass an evaluation first and then start over from zero.

We’re glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience overall, and we’ll continue working on improving where we can.

Thank you for the feedback, we understand how that could be frustrating.

Just to clarify, the profit target itself does not change. What can happen is when a trader goes over the consistency limit for their account size, additional profit is required so that no single day makes up too large of the total. This can make it feel like the target has increased, but it’s part of the consistency rule designed to promote steady and controlled trading.

All of this is outlined in the rules before purchase so traders know what to expect.

We appreciate you giving the platform a try and wish you the best moving forward.

Thank you for the feedback.

No one is manually closing trades on your account. Positions are only closed automatically if the account reaches its drawdown or risk limits. This is part of the system and applies to all traders equally.

Futures markets can move quickly, and without proper risk management, it’s possible for drawdown limits to be hit during volatility. That’s why it’s important to size positions appropriately and manage risk based on the account rules.

All risk parameters are clearly outlined before trading so there are no surprises in how the system behaves.

If you’d like, our support team can take a look at your specific trades and walk you through exactly what happened.

I never give any reviews - But i had to give one for this which is sad...

I never give any reviews, but for this i had to. It has only been 2 weeks that i started and i got a 100k account and i am new to futures. so i did blow 9k one day and 7k the next but then for 6 days consistently i was making 1200 which is the max i can make on that account. My assumption was as long as
1. i make 1200 per day for 7 days
2. not have the account go to 0
i would be eligible for a payout... but that is far from the truth.
if you lose it like lets say 100k to 80k ... first you have to make it all back ... then they have a 6k profit threshold
so in order to be at a payout they would need the account to be at 106k and then anything above that you get 50 percent of. But the worse part is i can only make 1200 MAX per day or my profit threshold goes up!. so now i would be waiting 30-40 days untill i get 1 pay out as long as i consistently make 1200 per day which isnt always the case you will have red days. And then i would have to pay the monthly on top of that its a never ending spiral that the person never gets a payout. I was really hoping for some light at the end of the tunnel and i always trusted joovier especially with his you tubes videos and help he has given but this literally is a scam. and then if i reset the account i will have to pay another 100-200 .. just a money making scheme. One good thing is since its only been 2 weeks they did return some money back. But overall i give this a 1 star and I have already cancelled had two accounts and had high hopes for this ... but its to good to be true like always!

Thank you for sharing your experience.

It sounds like there may have been some confusion around how the account structure and payout requirements work. The profit threshold does not increase. What happens is when there are losses, the account balance has to recover before reaching payout eligibility again.

For example, on a $100K account, payout eligibility starts at $6,000 in profit. If the account drops from $100K to $80K, the first step is recovering those losses back to breakeven, and then reaching the profit threshold. That’s standard across trading in general, not specific to our firm.

The daily profit limit you mentioned is part of the consistency rule, which is designed to prevent one oversized day from making up the majority of profits. This is clearly outlined in the rules before purchase.

All pricing, rules, and payout requirements are available upfront so traders can fully understand how the accounts work before getting started.

We understand trading can be frustrating, especially after losses, but the structure itself remains the same for all traders and many are able to reach payouts by staying within those guidelines.

If you’d like, our support team can walk through your account with you to clarify everything step by step.

This company was great until I needed help. The help center takes almost 24hrs to answer your questions. I went to discord fake community they have to ask a question and I got banned because I kept asking questions about a trade I took on Tradingview platform that I was not used to using. I had to figure it out for myself it was just one of the settings were off. They could not help me with that at all. Fake coach soysaucesmiley. Our support team does respond to all inquiries, and while response times can vary depending on volume, we always work to assist traders as quickly as possible. Regarding Discord, we do have guidelines in place to keep things organized for everyone, but no one is removed for simply asking questions.

It’s also important to note that we work with multiple trading platforms, and each one has its own settings and functionality. For that reason, we always recommend traders take the time to understand the platform they are using, as not every trader is on the same setup and some issues may come down to platform-specific configurations.

If there was a specific issue that wasn’t resolved, we’d be more than willing to take another look if you reach out to our support team.

The Edge Funder

I’ve spent some time exploring Edge Funder, and their business model really stands out in the prop trading space. Unlike many firms that focus heavily on selling challenges and subscriptions, their approach feels more like a genuine win-win where traders actually have the opportunity to earn consistently.

What I appreciate most is the simplicity of the model. You’re not paying to pass a complicated challenge - you’re paying to go straight into trading, with clear consistency rules in place. That removes a lot of the pressure that usually comes with multi-phase evaluations.

Another thing I found helpful is that some of their offers even come with 0 daily or monthly drawdown until the first payout, which allows traders to focus more on trading well rather than worrying about being knocked out early.

They also provide live training sessions focused on trader psychology, which is a great addition because mindset plays such a big role in long-term trading success.

Overall, it’s been one of the more trader-friendly experiences I’ve had with prop firms. Of course, discipline and risk management are still key, but their structure makes the environment feel much more supportive for traders trying to build consistency.

Thank you for the feedback. I understand how it might seem confusing at first.

When we say there is no evaluation, we mean traders start directly in a funded trading environment from day one. There is no simulated evaluation phase, no challenge to pass, and no reset process like most prop firms require.

There is still a profit threshold before a payout can be requested. For example, on a $50K account the payout eligibility starts after reaching $3,000 in profit. This does not mean you are in an evaluation, it simply means the account must generate profit before withdrawals can be made.

Once that level is reached and the trading day requirements are met, traders can begin requesting payouts.

All trading rules, payout requirements, and pricing details are available on the website before purchase so traders can review everything ahead of time and understand exactly how the accounts work. If anything is ever unclear, our support team is always available to help.

I have tried a lot of different Prop Firms and they all have their particular rules and I am fine with that. But The Edge Funder does not play with my payouts. And that is whats most important! Clear rules and if you need a clear understanding of your account TEF staff is there to help. Unlike other Prop Firms, there customer service is overseas.
