Disappointed
I was recommended The E Team and met with Craig, one of the owners.
He told me he could make me an easy to use website for a cheaper price, whatever template I and it would be really easy for me to update, chnage pictures etc. I agreed, as it sounded exactly what I as after.
I was very busy so it was several months before I could send him any copy for the website.
However, it became very clear that he had never used the template, I had chosen, before, and I also needed extensive 'back end' skills to make any changes. Which, being in a visual arts field, I did not have. I asked to have the background colours changed, but he told me it had to be blue, which was the colour of the template. He had told me previously that I could change each part of template to suit my business colours.
I was very disappointed, as I paid the agreed amount up front and he did not deliver on our verbal agreement and he did not know how to work together to address my concerns.
I would never recommend anyone to use this business.
I asked for a full refund but he refused, on the grounds that he was a small business. My business is also small and I could not afford to lose $1000. I was left with nothing for my money.
