If your a young party or family…
If your a young party or family celebrating and enjoy a drink you might enjoy-If you’re single or a mature couple or business professional breaking a journey-tired/hungry traveller in need of quiet/helpful hospitality- I’d avoid.
I arrived late on a Friday night-booked last minute a 4* hotel? Followed signs from car park to guest check inn-through courtyard-greeted by rowdy party, drunken young vibe, no staff around, floating desk in middle of room- one busy girl I caught I asked to check in-oh through here down there round-follow me Iam going that way-lead to a bar knee deep in youngsters & 1 rushed girl serving-I was laden with heavy bags-could barely hear above the noise-left at the bar only to be redirected through another room-down steps to another desk-no one-very nice girl came-she could check in-went to get someone else-( if there was anywhere else-I would have walked out)
Asked what time I wanted breakfast -
I was exhausted-not eaten-it was late but 4*??? Handed a key-pointed to more flights of stairs on a dark staircase-tipsy people bumped into me-
Hot stuffy bedroom-there was a fan.
dogs barking in bedroom next door
Spotlessly clean room
Clean bedding & towels
Very nice girl on desk in the morning & the lady that took my booking. Front door to daylight open in morning-to pretty town-
I didn’t stay for breakfast.
