Terrible company

Terrible company. Up till today still no resolution of return of money which they unlawfully took. A company with no integrity and ethics and owners who have no shame. Need to be shut down so that no one can suffer the same fate as me. I am quite sure they are losing client and judging from the negative feedbacks and the fact that they blocked off all Google reviews, they definitely has lots of negative reviews to hide. Hope all buyers shop with their eyes open

Absolutely Excellent

I am completely bewildered by a few of the reviews below, simply because I can’t praise this company enough! I am what might be termed a ‘serial shopper’, and EVERYTHING I have bought from the Fifth Collection over the numerous years I have been a customer of theirs, has been nothing short of excellent! Everything they sell is ALWAYS very well described and everything is in pristine condition! I have never returned or been displeased by a single item, simply because there has never been any need to do so, thanks to their very reliably described information. I have always found every member of their team utterly polite and charming and would give them 10 stars if I were able. Quite simply, in my very extensive experience, the Fifth Collection are streets ahead of their competitors!

BLACKLISTED company

I wish I have read these reviews before purchasing. It's not clear you're buying from abroad and it'll take who knows how long to get the delivery. After a few days with no communication about the order status, I contacted them via chat—very rude customer service. I decided to remove an item from the order (still under process) and they charged me $20 as a penalty. At that point, I decided to cancel the whole order. Very smart way to do business!

Beware of Fraud. Didnt refund in full after returning an item.

Didnt refund in full after returning an item. If I hadnt check , I wouldnt have known they deducted money without my knowledge. An ultimate fraud. I believe they often do this and unsuspecting client will fall prey to monetary loss without knowledge. They probably get away with such unlawful acts many times. Pls do not send in your item or buy from them. If you try to call their hotline, the owner of the business will scream and shout at you. Horrible experience. If I can give negative star I will.

Some good deals as a Buyer but not for Sellers anymore

I’m one of their regular sellers and I had good experiences with their marketing, effort to advertise and price quoted were reasonable for the past years. Only recently, they offer 2 different pricing tiers on their website for buyers, of which they can have extra savings if opt to pay by Paynow, a direct interbank transfer without incurring other charges. Good for buyers who want additional discounts in a way but not for sellers. The agreed selling prices are listed as the Paynow price, and the prices are further jacked up for buyers who wants to pay through other payment methods apart from Paynow. Regardless it’s due to defraying away from the additional costs, such pricing scheme should be clearly stated upfront and made known that the prices are going to be jacked up to offer such pricing scheme to buyers. Not when I gave the approval and found out the hike in pricing when items r listed online which were not even quoted to me in the first place. I took back one of my items due to this and also realised the pricing they quoted me for a recent new item is quite low. I could have sold better elsewhere. Eventually, I was asked to pay them back the commission they will likely earn for retrieving the item before the consignment period and was told of a different cost - based on the jacked-up pricing they listed online which is not the agreed quoted commission given to them. I had to question further and showed them what’s the initial quote they gave me then they rectified it accordingly. It’s still very unpleasant even though they said it’s due to a glitch and need to get their engineers to check on the backend. I seriously don’t think this is makes much sense, as all quotes and approvals are sent through email communications with actual people communicating with me. As a reselling platform, they should have proper records on hand. It puzzled me further when such glitches of records required engineers to intervene to resolve the mistake they made in terms of the commission payback, which further made me wonder further about the level of transparency they have towards their sellers. Though I do wish they could just waive that amount and return the item back as I do feel cheated somehow, I still honour the consignment contract that I've gotten into and decided to just pay it and get it done with them for good. Apart from the above, the response time is also getting longer than usual compared to my past experiences with them as a buyer and seller. The standard of services has dropped by a lot. Given that they ran a Boxing Day promotion, it's within a reasonable expectation that there'll likely be a surge in orders, and it seems to me they're struggling to cope and likely not equipped with adequate manpower to manage the many customers' orders and other demands. Change of management? Or change of work ethics? Whatever it is, there's a significant mismatch of expectations as a customer towards them as a whole.

Intentional Contractual Fraud and Default, Beware

Experience is scary, fraudulent Company and founder. Prior to purchasing confirmed that shippers were listed as - "major shipping company DHL & Fedex". After not receiving shipping tracking information reached out to Company. Phone rings through with no machine, then it appears to a personal home. Company did not ship and when queried "founder" had unorthodox responses, given purchase was via Pay Pal (VERIFIED) and Centurion Amex (VERFIED), also provided seller DHL (VERIFIED) shipping account info and online information confirming. Seller made all sorts of excuses as to why he was not shipping DHL, used by Southebys and Christies and just about every other shipper worldwide. Made violating requests that I send Passport, SSN and appoint small third party shipper as POWER OF ATTORNEY. Did not seem to care or understand I expected Company to honor advertised terms or why I didn't want to appoint an unknown company "power of attorney" -- small unknown shippers usually do not understand how to handle second hand collectibles well. Suggested maybe they could deliver later in person so I could avoid customs fees, which is intentional fraud. When I told them to please either ship the bag via DHL as they say on their website, he disappeared. I filed a case with Pay Pal and they ruled in my favor. Later, the Company solicited my feedback and I provided it. The "founder" was comfortable lying directly -- including things as small as the conversion rate of the price to saying he "cancelled a sale". A case was filed via Pay Pal who ruled in my favor. Shipping from Singapore to US is very simple through major carrier which they guarantee on their website, and do not honor. This is not a Company any thinking person would want to do business with. They appear to be comfortable with gaslighting and word salad when faced with simple requests of "you advertised you ship via DHL, please do so as they already have all the personal information verified and I don't want to send it to you" --all signs of what appears to be a deeply troubled narcissistic Company. I wish I had read the other Trust Pilot reviews prior to doing business. Simple fact. They advertised they would ship DHL and didn't seem to understand why a customer would not want to send personal ID, a social security number and appoint someone power of attorney they didn't know. These folks are hostile, angry, and out to lunch. Go to Southebys "but it now" function if you are looking for collectible luxury. None of these problems.

Bought a bag from this website

Bought a bag from this website, they are likely not caring of your order. They collected money and that's it. Whatever condition you received that was non of their business. They squeezed and flattened the form of my bag in a cheap torn off dust-bag (the bag was nice because of the form) and just sent to me with a paper bag to contain it. No box or properly wrapped like the video/reviews on their website. And they don't let you to have any section for reviewing even though you purchased thing from them.
The website is so suck as cannot access at all at many points of time in the day.
Beware of what you see and expect to have.

Beware of the high costs of customs and…

Beware of the high costs of customs and taxes in your country. I believed that if a company sells worldwide that they're aware of the enormous extra costs you have and wouldn't advertise with worldwide deliveries (what's the point to buy shoes made in Italy from Singapore and to pay import taxes on that, right?). So, totally ridiculous experience buying second hand. Order in the EU or in your country on trusted websites instead. No point discussing anything which them. You get the impressions to deal with bots. No customer service, that's for sure (the seller is always right ;)

Great experience

I ordered a jacket. Initially I was hesitant to place the order because of some poor reviews and because the company is in Singapore and I am in the US making it difficult if something goes wrong. But, everything went perfectly. I placed the order, received confirmation, it shipped in two days due to the time difference and a weekend, and the jacket arrived in 3 more days via DHL. It is in pristine condition exactly as described.
I reached out to the company early on to see when it would ship. They were responsive and honest.
I did see the negative reviews here. But, my experience was great and I would definitely buy from The Fifth Collection again.
Overall is was a very positive experience shopping with The Fifth Collection.

It was a great pleasure to buy here! I made purchase on Sunday and on Thursday I received the parcel! From Singapore to Europe! Amazing! I am very happy with my purchase - it arrived lovingly wrapped and I love it! Many thanks to The Fifth Collection 👌❤

This website is selling counterfeit…

This website is selling counterfeit items. I bought an Hermes bracelet and found out from friends, experts and boutique shops a month later that the bracelet is FAKE, so I informed the company with multiple photos. The ship insisted it’s authentic and did not refund the money even though the bracelet has been proven to be FAKE.
I posted more information and photos about the bracelet on their google map if anyone want to see the evidence.

Do not buy from this website. Such a scam!

Item is TOTALLY not as described! Dishonest company.

Item is not as described and refused to accept return!
Be aware! I purchased the dress mid of December 2019, item arrived not on time, I went to overseas on 1/1/2020, when I came back and saw the dress is totally not as describe, I sent so many emails to this company “The Fifth Collection”. They said that the returning time was expire for 10 days! They did not give me the exemption for the new year holiday late return due to the Item Is NOT AS DESCRIBE. The item listed as new and in perfect condition, the collar of the dress has shrunk, white colour turns to a bit of yellow! So ridiculous to get a dress in this terrible condition that I paid for SGD $540.
Now it is sitting at the corner all the time as it is unwearable!
Never try to make any purchase from this dishonest company.

I purchased a preloved limited edition…

I purchased a preloved limited edition Chanel bag from 2014 and the bag came as pictured in excellent condition. I made my payment using Paypal so I had no issues with it. The staffs that I talked to using their chat was also very friendly but gave me the wrong info about the bag which was that she said it did not come with the card but when I got the bag, the card is inside the bag zipper. Since it turned out better than expected, I do not have complaints.

Items not as described online, beware this company.

I purchased shoes from the fifth collection on April 22 2019.
They were pictured online intact and described as "in good condition"

On arrival, one shoe had no heel cap. The shoes were not in wearable condition and required repair for use. I contacted the company who referred me to an article on heel caps breaking due to hydrolysis, which is irrelevant as they were absent, not broken. They refused to refund as a missing heel was not a "quality" issue despite being unwearable on arrival. They offered to give me 20 dollars to repair it myself.

It is completely fair to expect a pair of shoes to be wearable on purchase. In addition, their buyers terms do not specify that a missing heel cap is not a quality control issue.
I will be reporting them to the ACCC if this is not resolved.
