I cancelled my order on April 2nd

I cancelled my order on April 2nd, 2026. It is now April 13th, 2026. I have not received my refund in full and the email stated it would take 1-3 business days. I am getting frustrated that I have yet to receive my money back. As I cancelled before the subscription even began. Buyer beware.

Great customer service

I was hesitant to order because I had read some bad reviews. I decided to get them for my wife for Christma anyway. She got the first letter and then nothing. I waited for three weeks after the date the second letter was supposed to be sent. I contacted the company and they apologized that somehow my wife did not get on the mailing list. They immediately sent the missing letters. I was very impressed by their customer service and quick response. I also got hooked reading the letters. I would highly recommend this to anybody as a gift to someone who likes to read. Very interesting and informative.

Ridiculous company and customer…

Ridiculous company and customer service. I received this as a gift and as appreciative as I am of the person who gave it to me, this is not something I would enjoy or want. I do not like being on a distribution list or a subscription service. I contacted the company through their support and then I was signed up for their emails. Good thing I used a masking email address. They will not refund the original purchaser unless they contact them. I am the recipient of this twice monthly unwanted gift. They will also not refund the gift giver in full unless I go out of my way to pay money and go to the store to ship.

I received The Flower Letters as a…

I received The Flower Letters as a birthday gift in 2024. The letters were being delivered as expected until after the 16th letter they just stopped. I have the mail notification of what is being delivered soon and no letters have been posted as arriving soon. I had a very hard time contacting the seller through their email as was the person who purchased them. It took 2 months for a response and now they are claiming they were sent. They indicated in their email I now need to pay $5 for the missing letters that were never mailed to me. So I as a recipient I have to pay to get the letter subscription that was gifted to me or the purchaser would need to pay an additional charge. This is a very expensive letter subscription for sure! I am sure if they had answered me sooner they could have sent the couple missing letters before they accumulated. Very disappointed in the management of this company.

Didn't recieve the letters

Ordered two stories, both should have about 26 letters sent to your adres. I only recieved 16 from the story I ordered for myself, my niece whom I gifted the other story too only received 4. Contacted them several times by email and through their own contactform but no responce. An expensive mistake.

Norah Aven - clever and good value, but disappointing

A year ago, I got the Flower Letters story, The Norah Aven Chronicles. I just finished reading the last letter, so I thought that I'd post a review. The overall concept of the Flower letters is clever, with stories being told in letters (different handwriting fonts for different characters), Journal Entries, "newspaper articles", encoded postcards, and screenshots of cell phones, etc. (I am sure that more historic stories substitute something else for the screenshot pieces.) There is also usually a sticker in the envelope. Overall value is very nice - each envelope is filled to around 1oz with letters, stickers, cards, etc. The sheer amount of stuff you get in each envelope is basically worth at least $2-3/letter, and they only charged me $4.00 ($99 per year, 24 letters), so they don't appear to be trying to make a ridiculous profit. The story itself is where I was disappointed. Norah Aven could have been a lot of things: sci-fi, fantasy, social commentary -- and yet it largely turned out to be the core of their market, a romance story with some adventure and sci-fi aspects. I do wish that they had been more clear about the nature of the story in the ads, I would probably have been less disappointed if I had been expecting a sci-fi romance instead of a sci-fi adventure. Setting aside the disappointment of getting a romance after I had specifically tried to avoid a romance, the story itself is mixed in its execution. The first roughly half a dozen letters were great - plenty of action, with a mix of exposition, interesting worldbuilding, etc. Unfortunately, then the story became really unevenly paced, and reading each letter became more and more frustrating as it seemed to be being written without sufficient story arc planning -- the pace of he story within the letters in the middle eventually slowed to a crawl, with some of the letters focusing solely on how the two main characters (romance novel) were feeling in a specific moment, with barely anything to move the plot along. I actually had to make myself read the last 5-6, because I was beginning to be concerned that they were not going to finish the story at all, and that I was going to have paid $99 for half a story and a bunch of character development. I am pleased to say that turned out not to be true - the story did actually resolve (with the promise of a sequel that is probably available to order now), in a generally satisfying way, but only during the last 3-5 letters. So my one suggestion to them is this: re-work the story to keep the character development more evenly dispersed across and integrated with the actual plotline, so that your middle can maintain the momentum of the story arc. It might miake the first half a dozen letter move more slowly, but it would make the series into something that was more worth saving in the tins you like to sell with these sets. Overall, I am glad that I purchased the letters. I did probably get $100 worth of entertainment out of them. But I encourage future purchasers to expect beauty, adventure, and romance, and to moderate their expectations of story quality to avoid being disappointed.

I ordered the bundle 2 weeks ago and it…

Another update - these are fantastic! Exactly what I had hoped. They actually called me and emailed to ensure everything mailed it okay. I was overly reactionary in my waiting and worry. It was perfect and my wife LOOOOOOVES IT!!! This company is 1st class.

I am updating my review. They reached out to me this evening and have found the order. They are shipping it immediately. More to come on the items. I think they're going to be really neat.

I ordered the bundle 2 weeks ago and it hasn't even been put together to ship. Mother's Day is in 5 days. I ordered in enough time.

Letters in Bundle Have Redemption Code

I'm editing my original review (kept below) which was 1 star for letters that never arrived from a bundle order. I'm now giving 4 stars because it took a couple attempts for customer service to get back to me. They told me that when ordering a bundle with tin and letters, the letters won't come until the recipient enters a redemption code into the website. My friend found the code and was able to redeem it.

Original review: I ordered the bundle that came with letters and a tin for a friend's birthday at the beginning of November. The tin arrived, but none of the letters have. Their website says the letters send separately and should start arriving within a couple weeks of the order. It's been almost 3 months and not a single letter has been delivered to my friend. The address is obviously correct since she received the tin. I've reached out to them multiple times, but they have not replied. Over a hundred dollars for a small tin is not worth it. I don't think it is a scam, but something is wrong when ordering their bundles.

Wonderful experience

I am surprised that there are no reviews on this great company. I have subscribed to all their available letters by mail and they are all wonderful. They deliver what they promise. Highly recommended.
