They portray themselves as a high-end lifestyle magazine and shop, but it appears to just be a bit of swizz. I bought a subscription in December whilst a promotion was on - I got my first issue later in January but nothing since - no membership card, no second issue (4 times a year I'd expect to have heard news of one by now). having decided this is not for me I've emailed a few times asking to cancel and for a pro-rata refund as I've only had 1 magazine to show for my purchase - no response at all (and an auto-reply that harks back to covid times of being exceptionally busy at the moment and replies may take a while - such telephone messages and email responses are a cop-out now people). Anyway, avoid - they'll take your money and you'll not get much to show for it.

Bit of a difficult start with the transaction - but customer service made an effort to get it sorted and kept me posted via email.

Shocking customer service. This outfit, and I can think of no better adjective for them, tout themselves as high brow fashion influencers and shopping experience. I ordered a shirt on the Sunday two weeks ago and was promised 2-5 days delivery. Two weeks later and no shirt or refund just two apologetic emails from them after several attempts on my part. Honestly I encourage you to avoid this company like the plague. My current situation is one of complaint to them and if not resolved I will be perusing guidance in line with the Trade description act. Disgusting service!!!

I get emails almost daily. I've tried unsubscribing. I report each as spam but they keep coming. I don't know why? I haven't bought from them and I won't. Surely GDPR is meant to protect from such companies?

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE ORDER FROM "GENTLEMANS JOURNAL SHOP/UK" ... HUGE SCAMMERS... INSTANTLY TOOK MY US DOLLARS AND THEN REFUSED TO ANSWER TO ANY EMAILS. I WILL BE CONTACING THE UNITED STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL, but i wanted to make sure this warning is out there for every American citizen to see... happy to provide evidence or discuss in private if that helps... this co is just awful

Scam artists. Promised a free gift in return for an annual subscription - it never arrived. Promised information about getting discounts via their site - the details weren't ever provided or sufficiently explained. Promised to support but stopped replying to emails, and their social media doesn't respond to legitimate questions. Avoid at all costs, these guys are conning people.
