I paid around 30€ in shipping just to be informed after the fact that I would have to pay an additional 30€ to receive a 50€ product. I should have been informed of that up front. I sent an email to cancel the order and still have heard nothing.

We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy and understand why this situation feels frustrating. We do try to be as clear and transparent as possible about international shipping charges before checkout...and not really sure what more we could have done 🙁
The following information is provided at multiple stages before an order can be placed:
1. Our FAQ explains that international orders may be subject to import duties and local taxes
2. Our Shipping Policy clearly states that duties and taxes are not included in international shipping prices
3. A mandatory checkbox at checkout must be selected to confirm the shipping terms have been read and accepted before payment can be completed
4. The delivery method selected is explicitly labelled “International – Europe – DUTIES & TAXES NOT INCLUDED – DHL / FedEx”
Import duties and local taxes are set by the destination country and collected by the courier, not by us, and cannot be calculated or included in advance. We have checked your order and confirmed it was processed and declared correctly.

Well I’m getting bills for a duty…
Well I’m getting bills for a duty charge or tax from fedex . Ya I paid 175$ for shipping on a 70$ part now you want me to pay that too . Careful this. Company will bite you… and they did with a reply again something the size and weight of 2 double a batteries which is more than the product in question is 175 $ shipping cost on a 70$ part . Suger coat you’re end hydro brothers but the bottom line is shipping cost of 170$ on a 70$ part for something that is the size of a cell phone box …….and then I get a duty fee

For international shipments, import duties and local taxes are set by the destination country and collected by the courier, not by us, so these charges are unfortunately outside of our control.
