The Insomnia Clinic is one of the UK’s only specialist insomnia services. Kathryn Pinkham developed the highly acclaimed Sleep Well, Live Better course which has helped over 3000 people cure their insomnia or simply improve their sleep. The course will clearly guide you through the simple steps to improve your sleep and includes everything you would receive in face-to-face sessions Plus Kathryn and her team are there to provide ongoing support throughout the entire programme via the support forum. The Insomnia Clinic trains and provides a network of qualified, insomnia specialists who are experts at working with people who suffer with poor sleep. The approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for insomnia (CBT-i), the recommended treatment for poor sleep, to help people to change and improve sleep patterns and manage anxiety around sleep. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i) is a structured programme that helps you to identify and replace thoughts and behaviours that cause or worsen sleep problems, with habits that promote sound sleep. Unlike sleeping pills, CBT-i helps you to overcome the underlying causes of your sleep problems. The programme teaches you how to use your own body clock and sleep drive to control your sleep pattern so that you never need to lie in bed awake again. CBT-i has a large evidence base and is repeatedly shown to be one of the most effective treatments for long term insomnia. As a result, the National Health Service (NHS) recommends CBT-i as the preferred treatment for long term insomnia.

I joined after watching several videos…

I joined after watching several videos and it seemed great. There was also a money back guarantee within a set time frame. Initially things worked, but after that the therapy didn't and I asked for my money back. I was in the initial period. Kathryn encouraged me to carry on, and so I did, I'm not one to give up easily. However when I emailed her again to ask for my money back she said I was out of my money back period (she'd essentially talked me out of it)

Really disappointing. I'm not particularly well off, and used my savings to pay for her course.

Inspirational

Insomnia descended on me earlier this summer - an experience I'd never had before. I began to scour the Internet for advice, and ended up applying various 'sleep efforts' and adhering to the various precepts that make up 'sleep hygiene'. Nothing worked. A Google search landed on The Insomnia Clinic, and within hours I'd signed up for a course of cbt-i, administered by the inspirational Kathryn Pinkham. Several months down the line, I can say that my 'wakefulness anxiety' has disappeared and sleep is no longer the battle it became during the summer. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending The Insomnia Clinic to anyone having problems sleeping.
