My internship in Hong Kong was a great experience. Not only did I gain valuable experience in my auditing internship, but also made good friends and had a lot of fun. The local guide, Cici, is a lovely person and helps you with everything you need and adapts trips to your wishes. Overall, I can recommend Hongkong, because it is an amazing mix of Asian culture and international influence. There, you can do a variety of things such as hiking, going to amazing rooftop bars or visiting temples and museum. In terms of price it's not too expensive, except for rent. However, I must say the first meetings with the Intern Group were a bit confusing, because employees switch every time I moved to a new phase, making it easy to lose track.

Thanks to the Intern Group I was able to achieve my goal of breaking into the Tech industry. We went through a series of communication and constant feedback and I am happy with the fact that they listen. One of the best investment I ever made.

I am grateful l have found an opportunity to do an internship in Thailand, where the Intern Group has been seamlessly helpful in meeting my interest of the workplace l wanted to learn and develop from. I interned as a Guest Service Agent in an hospitality industry where l have bonded with the people in the company so quickly and l was able to learn so much in the work tasks, work ethic, languages and their culture including their environment both work and Thailand. Without The Intern Group useful tools and resources in upskilling what l feel less confidence in which was effective communication, l was able to actioned it in the real world in Thailand where l have overcome it and made new friends at work including engaging with the other interns and the coordinator. I highly recommend this program!

I had a great experience with the intern group. I loved my work, I was placed in an ngo that provided me with really engaging work. The other interns were really welcoming and friendly, and my coordinator took us to so many fun events and meals. Such a good way to get work experience in another country, but also with a strong support network to help you feel secure. Highly recommend!

Price is what you pay, value is what you get. I see the price, but I did not see the matching value after talking to them and ‘being accepted’. My choice is not to proceed any further – the place looks a simpler version of the Trump University degree – we take your money, and what you get in return you will find out later … and if you are disappointed then it’s on you. Filter for negative reviews – they give a much clearer representation of what you get. Ignore most of the positive reviews, as to me they sound as a set-up.

Peach was very helpful with any questions and was always available when needed. The placement team found me an internship within 2 weeks, and they were invaluable and made the whole experience smooth and easy. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone who wants to do an internship and who wants new experiences in life.

The Intern Group makes the process so seamless. They handle everything from your visa, to your accommodations, to your ride from the airport! It’s alright. There’s a lot of hypearound what they can deliver but the results don’t always match!

I just wrapped up my internship in London with the Intern Group, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! They helped me find my internship super fast and were always checking in via email to make sure I was comfortable with interviews. The accommodation they set me up with in central London was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! The event coordinators, especially Autumn and Peach, were fantastic at their jobs – super friendly and always quick to respond, even within 15 minutes. Overall, my time in London was fantastic, and I highly recommend going abroad! Don't worry about accommodations or making friends; the Intern Group has got your back!

At first I was hesitant studying abroad and navigating a new city, but I can for sure say I am so happy that I was able to get this opportunity. I’ve met friends for a lifetime and I was able to travel outside of London to many more cities. Study abroad if you can!

I have throughly enjoyed my time in Bangkok and have had countless new experiences both professionally and personally.
The staff from the intern group have been great and were super supportive both pre-arrival and during my stay. Our in-country coordinator Jinnie was amazing and organised a number of great activities for us interns to attend as part of the programme as well as organising and/or recommending several other activities/places us interns should check out during our stay.
Coming into the internship I had to keep an open mind in terms of the work I would be doing. Having studied commerce and property at university, I was hired by a law firm which was different in itself. The first week and a bit was great as I was just settling in and getting to know my Thai colleagues. But it did become apparent very quickly that the law firm didn’t have a lot of work for me to do given my little to no legal experience, particularly in Thai Law. However, this was also a blessing in disguise as it freed up a lot more time for me to work both remotely and flexibly, meaning I could explore more of Bangkok and other parts of Thailand or simply just have a chill day and work from home.
Ideally I would have liked to have interned at a property firm, but now having lived here for 6 weeks I can see why it is super tricky to find us foreigners internships. Many of the firms over here want people who can speak both Thai and English. This is because a large majority of Thai firms have predominantly Thai speaking clients. There are of course foreign companies over here that have mostly English speaking people employed but they are not as common, with many of the big companies having their own established internship programmes.
Nevertheless I have loved living in Bangkok, especially since us interns all stayed at the same apartment residence, and I still did get a decent amount out of the work experience in terms of transferable skills that I can take forward into my career.
